My hubby kicked our plasma the screen is busted is circle but tv turns on but is black in the circle where kicked can it be fixed

try to check the cathode lights of your plasma it might be busted.

This will be your Y SUSTAIN board on the left hand side when you take the back off.

Its not the CRT, its the Y Sustain board.. This happened to mine 30 minutes ago.. and has happened to every owner of a plasma tv that uses the toshiba Y Sustain board..

most times then not it's the capacitors on your power board that blew there for not supplying the tv with enough power if you open it up and check the capacitors it should be leaking some kind of liquid or the tops have bubbled up. its an easy fix cost>>2 dollars each

If it's an lcd panel replacement prices start @ $500 to $1500 plasmas start @ $1000 ...that's usually part price only

The screen does not work properly .Ribbon wire fails.

Magnets and projection screens do not mix well. When you say `busted up` it could mean a few things.

If it means blotches of color on the screen
-Caused when your projection TV becomes magnetized.
Fix:
-Use a strong magnetic coil and make circular motions around your projection TV screen starting on the upper left corner.
-Increase the size of the circles you're making until you've covered the entire screen. Slowly move away from the screen; continuing to make circular motions with the magnet.
-When the magnet loses contact, the color blotches should be gone.

yes unfortionally that is the case. when the plasma envolope is busted the set is pretty much tottaled. Maybe you can find a bust one that still has screen intacted.
