Question about HP LaserJet 4650 Color Printer
Have 2 vertical cyan lines 1 inch wide on same side of printout. Understand HP printer toner cartidges were primed or pulsed extra toner when printing from Tray 1 (Specialty Paper). This in turn would dump excess "primed" toner into the toner cartridge's internal overflow tray which would fill up and then eventually overflow onto the transfer belt. The cyan cartridge shows 40% toner still availabe. This problem happened with the rest of the toner cartridges until they were replaced. Did HP issue a Firmware Fix for this? Very Poor Design for a color laser jet that cost $2,200 brand new.
Don't know about your "primed" toner, but go to Diagnostics and run the PQ test. See what that looks likes. Go to Disable Cartridge Check and swap the black and cyan toner. Run another PQ test. Are the lines still there and are they black or cyan? If they are cyan, the cartridge is bad. If they are black it's not the cartridge. It going to take a tech to look at it.
