SOURCE: PRINTING PROBLEM

Replace all electrolytic capacitors in power supply section on mainboard. caused by poor quality lower voltage caps being used in powersupply. Problem will reoccur every 2 to 3 years if 105oC caps are not used. If mainboard is replaced with new mainboard problem will reoccur within same timeframe. Fix old mainboard using higher voltage and higher temp caps and problem will be gone for good.

or there is no primary charge to the drum.(change toner)

Carbonless paper is great, but it deteriorates with age.
(Nothing new here. )

I don't know that there are different sensitivity paper available, but usually to get a good result the paper should be on a flat hard surface.
Naturally the writer must press much harder than with carbon paper.

D. ?There are five (main) components to an (e-mail) message besides the message box itself: from, to, cc, bcc, and subject.

Yes.... that's right. but what is your question?

If you're asking about CC - that means carbon copy. It comes from the days of typewriters when a sheet of carbon paper was inserted between two pages inserted into in a typewriter.

The impact of the inked letters wrote on the top sheet, and the impact also caused the carbon paper to transfer the same text onto the second sheet of paper. Hence 'Carbon Copy'.

BCC means 'Blind Carbon Copy'.

If you send an email to somebody but include a second person as 'CC' the person who receives the CC is aware that the email was sent to somebody else as well.

if you add somebody as BCC - Blind Carbon Copy - that person receiving it is unaware the email was also sent to another recipient.

When typing on carbonized paper, doesn't seem to be striking hard enough. When typing on regular paper, print is fine

I suppose you are using carbonized paper to obtain 2 copies... Then probably the first sheet of paper you are using (the one over the carbon paper) is too thick. I remember that when one wanted to make copies, it was important to use thin paper or the copy (the page under the carbonized paper) would appear too pale. Try with a thinner paper, especially as the paper used in printers and photocopiers is stronger than the one that was produced for typewriters.

My shredder is not working does it have a fuse somewhere

The shredder may be so clogged, with plastic for example, that the motor overheated and went into thermal shutdown. It also is possible that the input sensor is blocked. My experience with shredders that have been used to shred any type of plastic or plastic coated paper is that they are a complete mess inside.

Staples titanium shredder

Sometimes the sensor gets blocked by pieces of shredded paper. Unplug the unit and remove it from the paper bin. Turn it upside down and see if there are any "stray" pieces of shredded paper hanging on the unit. Remove the stray and replace the unit onto the bin making sure it is properly seated. If that is not the problem, try "tamping" the shredded paper into the bin and by doing so, giving the machine more room for the shredded paper. If neither of these help, refer to your owner's manual to see what recourse you may have.

How are you? My name's Richard Park. I put some paper into paper tray and click "ok" for printing. After arranging the printer, when it starts and slide in paper along the tray. But it has...

People, please use the correct product category, and provide the brand and model number of whatever device has you asking for help!

I deduce this is some sort of printer, but I can't figure out where the CD/DVD COPY comes from; I never heard of a printer that also copies optical disks.

Assuming it is conventional paper printer, there is probably a shred of paper stuck inside the printer from a previous jam. It isn't in a paper jam sensor, since the printer doesn't detect it. When the new sheet of paper goes in, it gets bent over by the paper shred and jams. You should be able to figure out just where the offending piece is by carefully noting how far the sheet went before it was stopped, and examining the folded-over part to identify how far from the edge of the paper path the foreign object is located. You may have to use a dental pick to extract the shred, paper clip or whatever it is. Be patient and be careful not to break anything. If the problem is a paper shred, you may have to tear it apart and pull it out in pieces because it is probably all bunched up and stuffed in tightly. If in doubt, consider partially disassembling the printer to get at the problem area.

We have a Universal Shredder 38103 at our office. The "open door" indicator is on and won't turn off. We have turned it off, unplugged it, cleaned it, vacuumed it out, removed as much loose paper bits as...

On the upper right corner of the bin opening you will see a slot in the black plastic. I taped a part of a business card into the slot and it now works. Just make sure to unplug the machine when the door is open.

Shredder screen reads door open even if the door is closed and wont let me do any shredding

Unplug it and then open i t up. You are looking for a piece of shredded paper that is stuck or jammed. Can even be a accumulation of paper dust. The piece won't be that big but most of the time that is all that is wrong. The paper either jams the door sensor or blocks it and gives the error. It can also be a bad door sensor or switch. Not very common but can happen.
