Cannot download all of pictures onto pc.

I have a Panasonic Lumix LZ7 digital camera. When I try to take more pictures the camera says "memory full"..How do I empty the memory? I do not have a memory card in the camera. I have the camera set in the proper mode for downloading to my PC but after unloading approximately 50 pictures, no more flashes, no more pictures!

First of all, you should forget about using the internal memory...it just causes problems (as you can readily see). Always use a memory card. If any of the pics on your camera are important, you should download them to your computer before continuing. Then, go into the menu and find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, with the card out of the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then insert a blank memory card and go into the menu and find "format" again...follow the on-screen instructions. From this point on, your life will be wonderful.

I have a DMC-LZ7, with some pictures on the built in memory. Can I transfer those pictures to a memory card? The pc cable doesn't talk to the camera.

Yes. There's a "Copy" option in the playback menu. It can copy all pictures from internal memory to a card, or individual pictures from a card to internal memory.

How do I format memory card on my Panasonic Lumix camera? Can I do it while the card is in the reader or can I format it using the camera alone?

If your pictures are safely downloaded to your computer, put the card back into the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

I have a panasonic lumix DMC-LZ7 and never had this problem before but when i hooked the camera up to my computer to import the photos it always said connecting with an arrow on a wavy line and now it says...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Want that my panasonic dmc-lz7 become a webcam but it cannot connect to my pc

The camera is designed to store images and videos onto a memory card, not to stream them live to a computer. It cannot be used as a webcam.

Cannot erase images on Panasonic Lumix

Go to the menu and Select 'Format.' This will erase all the pictures from the memory card or internal memory so be careful.
