Not using genuine HP cartridges could be one reason. Low ink cartridges could cause not enough ink to be used to make a certain shade of gray or black and thus causing the green tinge. Also if you are selecting photo quality printing then you need to use photo paper. The printer drivers tell the printer different commands depending on what kind of paper you tell it you are using. Good luck!
It mean that the black cartridge is not recognised. It the black cart is original or compatible? Some printer won't recognise cartridge, if the black and colour is not same type. Try to install the black only. Is it recognised?
Have you tried cleaning the print heads using either regular or deep cleaning modes? You should be able to access this through the software options or on the printer itself. You might also manually clean the ink cartriges with a tissue.
This could be one of many things. Monitor Calibration to Printer. Camera green Bias And good many more The thing is not to print direct from camera , but to use an image editor to colour correct. A free simple one is Googles free Picasa. Otherwise there are many more some free a lot to be paid for. As always there is a learning curve.
