Missing email from inbox . aprox 25 emails from 11/20 till 1/1 have vanished.

If this is trough outlook ect check you deleted folder, if you have web based option but you need to check with your provider some only keep emails on their servers for 30 days. Also if using outlook check in setting for message validility period

I can only open the top two emails in the inbox


Leslie,
After the top two emails, on the third line, you will see a message "Every thing else" on the left side. On the same line, to the far right, you will see the nos 1 - 50 of the total numbers of email you have received so far. Depending how many mails per page you have adjusted it to display, perhaps 1-25 or 1-30, so its not necessary to be 1-50. Click on these 1-50 and all your messages will appear and in this case 50 messages.

Outlook Express losing inbox messages?


When you start Outlook Express, the contents of your Inbox folder may be missing. The contents may be replaced with a new first-run "Welcome to Microsoft Outlook Express" message. You do not receive a warning that the email messages have been deleted, and the missing email messages are not in the Deleted Items folder.

Not able to receive or send emails. No place on Screen for it!


Hi,
Check your Junk folder
1. Sign in to Outlook.com account.
2. Click on Junk on the left pane.
3. Check to see if the missing mail is in this folder.
4. If you see any messages that should have been delivered to the Inbox, click the Not Junk.
Check your Blocked sender list
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon.
2. Select More Mail Options .
3. Under "Preventing junk email", click Safe and blocked senders.
4. Click Blocked senders.
5. In the Blocked senders list, select the name or domain (the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign, such as outlook.com) that you want to receive emails from.
6. Click << Remove from list.
Add the email address to your Safe senders list
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon .
2. Select More Mail Options .
3. Under "Preventing junk email", click Safe and blocked senders.
4. Click Safe Senders.
5. In the text box, type in the email address or domain you'd like to always receive emails from.
6. Click Add to list >>.
Check your Email Rules
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon.
2. Select More Mail Options .
3. Click Rules for sorting new messages under "Customizing Outlook".
2. Perform one of the actions as per your requirement:
Click Edit next to the rule that you want to edit.
Or
Choose the rule that you want to delete and click Delete.
Note: Not all international characters are supported as filters.
Check your Junk Mail Settings
1. From your Inbox, click the cog icon.
2. Select More Mail Options.
3. Under "Preventing junk email", click Filters and reporting.
3. Under "Choose a junk e-mail filter", choose the level of protection that you want, and then click Save. Recently you switch Hotmail to Outlook. Since then I can't have no more web, All is block and I Wonder why? What have I done wrong? Please I need help.

I think no any issue create because all function is same and i also used hotmail to outlook email used and also new version available. Or no change ID or password, just change look or services, but function is same. If you have problem link not open email not sent mail, account related issue, setting issue, or browsing issue just go to outlook help and search you own problem, there step by step problem solved or contact hotmail technician.

You are not clear what is eject problems. Just i gas and share, i hope solved your problems.

Outlook Express had trouble opening and had to shut down. When it did open next time, my complete inbox history was gone. Vanished. The current emails came in but all prior emails are gone. All other...


Use RecoveryFix for Outlook Express to recover dbx file which may get corrupted due to some virus or due to header corruption of dbx files or sometimes the media where dbx file is stored get corrupted. well if all the mails from trash, you might not get the emails back. What you can do is to contact yahoo.Some virus might have done this.

LG DARE MOBILE EMAIL PROBLEM - YAHOO MAIL


There should be a setting that allows you to have emails on your phone for only a given number of days.

Why? Because people like me have 2690 read messages in my inbox and my phone overloads if I try to keep all of them synced.

first thing if any one asks DO NOT give out your password!

nobody will be able to sort this out wihtou accessing your inbox which they will need your password to do, the safest way to sort this out is to email yahoo.

Outlook express - inbox mail from the last 6 months disappeared



Do you mean that your inbox has many years of mails and only the 6 months mails went away somehow?

Start OE, click on Tools -> Options -> Maintenence. Then double click the Store Folder path and press Ctrl-C to copy it to clipboard.

Start -> Run then press Ctrl-V and press enter

Check there in case your mails were in different folders. In case there are any numbered files in this folder like inbox[1].dbx .... then we know that is the problem.

There are ways to get the data but first you need to identify.
