GAs burner igniter

All four igniters on my Bosch NGP736 UC cooktop suddenly stopped working. The plug is in tight and the circuit breakers are OK. It lights fine with a match. Can anyone help? Thank you.

sparking just fine but not enough gas flow

The front two burners have gone out but the back two work fine. Gas comes out of all four & you can lite the front two burners with a match. Left front side works fine once lit. Right front side once lit continues to try & lite. It makes a clicking sound. Front burners still have small spark but the spark does not appear to be as strong as back burners. Tried to clean the terminals a couple times but it does not seem to help. Unit is sealed. How do I get into it & replace igniter. Is igniter the problem? Cooktop is a Bosch NGM5024UC 500 30" White Gas Sealed 4 Burner and is a few years old.

This is definitely an electrical problem. Check the circuit breaker on the wall plate (where the cooktop is plugged in) as well as at the fuse box. If that is not the problem, you may need an electrician.

Take a look at the solutions that have been posted regarding igniters. i suspect a dirty or wet push-down knob. you will see that others have had water/moisture causing problems. drying mights solve it, but it may need a a bit of a clean. keep trying. it must have taken me a couple of hours to solve.

Spark igniters on the burners fire continuously

When cleaning, if the control switches get damp, they will react as you describe.
Unplug the appliance, use a hair dryer and attempt to dry the switches.
Leave it unplugged overnight and try them again tomorrow.
They will eventually dry and be OK.

Check to make sure your burner caps are aligned. I had this problem, and it turned out one of my burner caps was slightly askew. Putting it level fixed the problem.

Constant clicking when turned on

I am not familiar with your particular model, but if you just had it installed, I'd say that the outlet you are using to plug it in is on a GFI circuit (ground fault interrupt) You cannot use a cooktop with automatic re-ignition on a GFI circuit, as it will do exactly what you are describing. Easiest way to check this is to go to home depot and buy a little outlet tester that will tell you if your polarity is reversed in the outlet (another possible cause) or if it is a gfi or non gfi. The other thing you could try is unplugging the unit and plug it into an extension cord. Then take the cord and run it to a non gfi outlet in a hallway or anywhere but the kitchen or bathroom areas and see if it behaves itself then. Hope this helps!
