There is a float switch at the pump that has become stuck, and when this happens, the "empty water" light will stay on and the machine will operate but with no heat. just locate the floating switch and give it a light tap back into its place, this will solve your problem.

Why does red ball stop operation?

Hi there! The red float is there to let you know when your dirty water tank is full and needs to be emptied. If the float is popping up and the dirty water tank is empty or not full this is an indication that the dirty water tank filter is dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Follow the link below to order a replacement filter for you vacuum.

Empty water light, empty condenser

I experienced the problem with a hotpoint TCYM 750, with the red empty water light failing to switch off. After removing the filter and cleaning it, cleaning the condenser and drying anywhere I had access to the machine still didn't heat and the light remained on. Reading the post about the machine having 3 reservoirs it struck me that one of the reservoirs may be hard to access. So I unplugged the machine and tipped it onto its front. The reservoir drained, I pushed the machine back upright and cleared up some water around the condenser. The drier now works properly and the empty water light is off - job done!

I have a Siemens e44-10 dryer. It works for few mins and that stops. The light looks like. Up of water flashes. I cleaned all filters, and the water tank is empty. Can u help me?

I had the same problem above. I tok the side panel off and disconected the float and cleaned it. I noticed alot of water mixed with dust. I used a dry cloth to get the water away and made sure the reservour was clean. I assembled everything and it is all working. Tips, make sure the condense tray is emptied after each Washington aswell as the dust filter. Clean out bottom filter once a month. This saved me having to buy a new machine and tok just half an hour. Phew, money in the pocket!

The tank empty light won't shut off even with water in the tank.

The float valve is probably stuck. Empty the water out of the reservoir and clean the tank with 50/50 White Vinegar and water.

My pulsar 150 is showing a missing when it goes to reserve

It probably is due to the crud that is around the filter in the bottom of the tank.
Petrol is messy stuff and as it is a hydrocarbon it contains water.
Water rusts the tank this sinks to the bottom and after a while gunges up the filter.
If possible empty the tank fill with a small amount of fresh petrol and swill it around and empty again. If you can remove the filter from the tank clean it in meths or clean petrol. An old toothbrush works well.

Changed r/o 3 filters and now water produces 2cups

The pressure on an EMPTY tank should be 8-10 psi. Be sure the tank is empty before checking the pressure. A good way to empty the tank is to connect a small air compressor to the air valve on the tank, open the systems faucet, and turn on the compressor. A bicycle pump works too....Just more of a workout:)

My zenith zd309 light keeps blinking but the water

If the unit is titled forward at all, the "full bucket" "trip switch" will not trigger off as it should. Be sure the unit is on a flat, level surface, or leaning backward slightly--this also aids drainage through the drain tube, if that's your set-up.
