Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

When I am typing fast, this keyboard sometimes swaps letters. Other keyboards do not do this for me, so I am pretty positive this is a keyboard issue rather than my typing skills. Ihave GK-070006/U SlimStar 110 plugged through USB into Lenovo T60 laptop with Windows XP.

Not sure if it a motherboard problem or not, but when typing, searching, etc, the letters won't print. I've lost question marks and some of my alphabet.

Power off your system. Unplug your keyboard, than re-connect it. Boot your system & test. (No help)! Try swapping out your keyboard with another. Still not working? Try a USB keyboard.
I doupt the motherboard or bios is causing this issue.

My laptop keyboard types two letters at a time. If I type w, it types we, type e, it types we, type s, it types sd, type d, it types sd, type x, it types xc, type c, it types xc. w,e,s,d,x are the only...

I am convinced. If the situation were not serious I would say that you invented a new language.
It seems that the letters concerned are aligned in two columns. Possible that the wires are not well electrically isolated. I would suggest you try to clean the keyboard with a soft brush or compressed air. If that does work you should have the keyboard repaired. Was some electolytic liquid (salt water, orange juice) spilled on the keyboard by any chance?

Hope it helps.
