Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer

Replaced Motor Control, motor and Main Control board, but still won't work

Dear washer experts:
When I saw the fuse blown in the motor control, I purchased the replacement kit that replaces the old motor control board and a new motor. I also replaced the main circuit board, however, the machine fills with water, but when it comes time for the motor to actuate, the on light goes off. A few months ago, I had also replaced the wax motor for the door and it ran fine then. So I think the problem must be something other than the four parts that were just replaced, namely: motor, motor control, main circuit board and wax motor. Do you have any suggestions.

Had to replace electronic control module in january the first time I saw this code. Replaced four days ago again, washed three loads of cloths and the code has appeared for the third time.

The only other thing that could cause the ON light to turn off as soon as the motor is about to start would be a bad or loose connection that causes a break in the circuit. Even if the components are O.K. the connection could still be causing the problem.

My fisher paykel GWL11 will not power on. Outlet is working. Just last week I replaced the pump motor and I was doing laundry again. This last time I was doing laundry , it did not fully spin dry the...

Did they add a fuse and fuse holder to the pump motor wiring? If not it may have blown the 6.3 A fuse on the motor control board as mine did before I replaced the pump... Did you replace the pump yourself or had a service man do it? If you had someone replace the pump, a return warranty servicve call is in order. If you replaced it yourself you may need a motor control board...$135 + shipping.. Arggh!
I plan to post my lessons learned on my pump/motor controll bd. problem shortly

MAH5500BWW model fuse blown

You probably need the motor conversion kit 12002039. This Neptune motor / motor control board has a high failure rate. To determine this you need to remove the front cover and inspect the motor control board near the floor on right side for burnt components or a blown 10 amp fuse. If you have burnt components or a blown fuse then your motor control board has failed and needs to be replaced. See www.neptunewaxmotor.com for Neptune disassembly pictures and other neptune information.
