I just got my new netbook in the mail from woot and there is no instruction manuel. Just wondering if it needs a full charge before it will boot up.

Battery might be faulty or the powering/charging module. Some contacts between battery and netbook might also be broken. Check the connections and some how to load the battery to empty it.

I have forgotten my e-mail adress and pass word now i can't open my netbook .when i turn on the netbook the line where the password would be entered that is i think. Ididn't plan on using a password , but i guess i did .Please help me open my net book,my e-mail address is [email protected].

Computer does not boot upThe problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needsreseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up thenremove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop andget them to test the RAM for you.

Install the Restoration Disk into the optical drive, (DVD drive), and when asked perform a Full Installation. (Destructive Installation)

Or install a fresh new genuine copy of Windows, and perform a Full Installation.

(You may need to go into BIOS Setup, and in Boot Options, set the first boot device to CDROM)

Don't have the Restoration Disk? (Or if you are the first owner did you make one?)
Try contacting Acer Support.

(From reading experiences with others, it would seem you would be better off just buying a new-genuine copy of Windows. Easier to obtain )

Remember, formatting in this mode will remove ALL personal data from the netbook.
No personal documents you have created, or downloaded, no programs you have installed or downloaded, no photos, music, videos, nada, will be saved.
The netbook will go back to the way it was Day 1 from the factory.

It is very common with netbook. It could be your netbook's battery is not charging or your power adapter is broken. Try to remove battery, put power adapter to outlet, turn on netbook to see if it boots. If it works, then it is time to replace battery. If it's not working, then buy new adapater.

It is built into the unit as HELP. Turn on the unit and use the left menu. See option HELP. Not great help. Wonderful unit. Needs to have upgraded software once you setup unit and wireless. Update give you card reading and importing your own docs. Card port hard to access. Upside down.

Go to the manufacturer's support website and download the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. Follow the instructions in flashing the BIOS carefully.

reboot the computer and tap the F8 every second or two to get to safe mode (click here for details).
Not sure what virus you have, but I just had to remove "Security Tools" from a pc. I booted into Safe mode and ran MalwareBytes.
If you don't have virus protection download and install Windows Defender and Avast - both are free.

press f4 when the samsung logo comes up when you start the netbook up :)

The laptop is not turning on?

Remove the battery and try boot the machine on AC power only. If the computer starts up turn it back off, reinsert the battery and try to boot the computer again.
If it still won't boot with the battery inserted then i suggest you send or take the computer back as there is a hardware problem.
