Question about Dishwashers
1. My dishwsher has filled with brown stains over the last few months. Is there a way to clean?
2. The racks are starting to fall apart. Is there a way to get a replacement, and would that be easy to install?
Several methods for cleaning the brown stains. Assuming they are rust stains you need to run a cycle without any dishes and a cleaner. Suggested cleaners are lemon juice or Iron Out. Some people use vinegar.
Racks should be available at your local appliance parts store or online. Appliance Parts at http://www.appliance-parts-warehouse.com and some at sears.com. Most are not difficult to install. Some require some thought to figure out how to get the old ones out.
