Question about Poulan Pro 42CC 2 Cycle Chainsaw, 18"
How do I remove the oil pump, and where is it located?
The following is applicable to a Poulan PP3218Anything (doubtful it matters). The "Type" may be important so I must defer to you to ensure applicability.
IPL example (PP4218 Gas Saw Type 2):
Oiler components are on the "Handle, Chassis & Bar Assembly" print.
All Poulan IPLs:
The dash number of your serial number is the type.
It has an inboard clutch both videos apply for complete removal (oil pump behind the clutch):

The C-clips tend to fly when being removed. Please wear eye protection and exercise care.
