your bulb is going bad, replace it and the problem will be resolved.

If you are nat getting an image then you need to replace the bulb.

if the fans come on and no light, it's either the lamp or the ballast that needs to be replaced. check the lamp. if the inside has bulges, black spots or fogging, replace the lamp. you can get the part from a sharp service center and do it yourself or send it to one for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

New projector lamp time! you may have found that a symbol of a lamp comes on in the bottom corner of the picture after you turn it on for a short time. perhaps the lamp light has been flashing too. But yourself a lamp and be sure to follow the instructions that come with the lamp on resetting the timer- you must do this in order to get it to fire up again. Tip for the Sharps- Must replace it with the AC cord disconnected. (reconnecting the AC cord is part of the reset procedure)

it may be the bimetal breaker. you'll have to open the case and reset it. it's the red button on the front of the lamp housing.

Reset The Lamp Timer.

While simultaneously holding down (+ . >) and AUTO SYNC on the projector, Press ( I ) ON and ( - . < ) on the projector.

"LAMP 0000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

NOTE..... Make sure only to reset the lamp timer only when replacing the lamp. If you reset the lamp timer and continue to use the same lamp, this may cause the lamp tp become damaged or explode...

clean all filter and do not block any ventilation slots with any objects and check .if the problem exist contact service center for help.
