Can you use 30 degree nails in a Porter Cable FC350 34 degree nailer?

Yes, you can use 30 degree clipped head nails in the Porter-Cable FC350 framing nailer. The FC350A and FC350B nailers are newer models that specify the 30-34 degree clipped head nails. Make sure that the nails are between 2' - 3 1/2" in length. The manuals for each of the later models do not explicitly list the 30 degree nails. Their specifications page do list the 30 degree nails. See and . The manual for the FC350 is available here: . It is the same as the manual for the FC350B, .

I hope this helps.

How do I release the trigger lock on a brand new porter cable nail gun

Are you depressing the nose of the nail gun against the material to be nailed first? Without doing this, the trigger will not "unlock". You can read a pretty in-depth review of this nail gun at OnlineToolReviews com Porter Cable FR350A Full Round Head Framing... which might also help.

Older coil350 doesnt fire on single fire. works as its supposed to on bump fire. Single fire just puffs a little air and thats it.

As the contact arm and trigger inner lever wear, the trigger will not push the trigger valve pin all the way in. The pin on the trigger valve also wears. One deficiency or a combination the three problem areas is causing the problem. Remove the trigger and look carefully at the inner lever (thin metal part ). If it looks rather worn and the trigger itself fits loose on the retaining pin, replace with new. Replace the trigger valve if the center pin seems loose in the valve and looks like it has worn shorter. ;Good luck.

I have a Porter Cable framing gun with a constant air stream from the defector. I can't read the model number, but after looking thru the Internet my guess is it's a FR350A. I have used 21 degree...

Air leaking from top of the gun is caused by headvalve orings or trigger valve. Easy fix, remove the head and pop out the headvalve. Remove the orings from headvalve and clean grooves /orings. Reinstall orings and apply plenty of silicone paste lube. If guns holds pressure after cleaning and new silicone paste, order oring kit and have handy when problems start again. If the gun keeps leaking, remove the trigger valve and replace with new or change orings within valve. Good luck

Was trying to reload nails into my FC350A nailer. My hand slipped and the nail pusher slammed forward. Now I can't move the pusher to add more nails. What's wrong...nothing seems broken

Framing guns are a pain in the ****. It's the coil. Sounds like it broke free or jammed. Only solution is to take it apart. Take your time , not to difficult.

Parts /extra trigger for your gun are available at your local dewalt service center or at Some of the triggers that come with fr350a as standard equipment had a small red button on the side that allowed you to select single shot mode or multiple. If your gun has a black metal trigger, it is better quality/lasts longer than black plastic. Good hollidays

Porter Cable FC350A air nailer misfiring

first off I would look at the safety to ensure it is not bent and also the driver is not stuck because of a jammed nail. You can go to and download a diagram for this tool and start some disassembly of the cylinder area to check for other broken parts. I don't at this point think a rebuild kit is necessary unless it has been awhile since it has been serviced and then yes I would but you I think have some other bent or out of place item.
