Re: burn image file
Hey there jamesi23, begin with Nero start smart, open it and then choose application Nero Express. The Nero express screen which appears, has video/pictures on the left to choose. Click on it. Then choose DVD Video files on the right. The next screen gives you the Add feature to choose and select from the files on your computer which video VTS files it will burn. They will have to be in VTS or ISO image to be recognised. Choose your file, and open it. This will put it on the burn list for Nero express. Install the DVD blank media in the drive, and press burn when prompted. These are admittedly basic instructions, so if they are not clear enough, or you need further assisstance, please let me know. Good Luck!

First you need to locate your music/audio. If it was downloaded from Limewire/Frostwire the default location would be C:\Documents and Settings\**Your Username**\Shared
You can also access your music/audio through Limewire/Frostwire, by going to your Library, then highlighting a file that you want to burn and press explore. This will open the folder containing the highlighted file.
Alternatively use the search to search for something you know is in the folder you want to access or eg. search for the extension of the music/audio you want to burn.
First it may be worth mentioning that there are two ways of burning audio in Nero 7. Using Nero Express or Nero Burning ROM (The original Nero program). I find both very simple to use, but prefer Nero Express, so That's what I will use here.
First open Nero StartSmart:
Pressing add is not necessary. You can also open folders outside of Nero Express, and then you drag and drop the same way.
You can make mp3 disks using Nero Express as well. Just choose make Data Disk instead of Audio CD in Nero StartSmart. The only difference you will see is that instead of minutes you will be adding size (MB)
In case you run into playback issues when using Nero Express, then you have two options. You could try using Nero Burning ROM. Raaf explains here how to do that with Nero 6, but Nero 7 is very similar:
You've downloaded a *. BIN file, but there was no *.CUE file associated and you still want to burn the *. BIN file using Nero.
Your options are:
1) Create yourself a *.CUE 2) Convert the *.BIN to an *.ISO 3) OR use Nero to burn without the *.CUE file! ! !
Yes, that`s possible...just follow these steps and you will be sorted. No need for *.CUE files anymore
ok, here we go...
1) Start Nero 2) File -> Burn Image 3) Browse to the *. BIN file that you want to burn and open it 4) A window saying "Foreign Image Settings" will open 5) Check the settings. They should be as followed:
* Type of image: leave it to Data Mode 1 * Select the Raw Data check box Note->> The block size will change automatically from 2048 to 2352 * Leave Image Header and Image Trailer unchanged and set to 0 * Leave "Scrambled" and "Swapped" check boxes unchecked 6) Click on burn! 7) Enjoy This tut was for Nero 5.x.x.x, I was told that "Burn Image" is under "recorder" in Nero 6. The rest of the steps should be the same...xkalibur
.ISO files are archived filed ready for burning to a CD or DVD discs using burning programs like Nero. Thus, Nero software can open and burn this .iso files to discs. Also, Winrar can open and extract the files in a .iso file archive. Download Nero to burn or Winrar to open them
