Is there a website where i can legally download xbox 360 games for free?

I am assuming you are referring to playing original Xbox games on your new 360. Halo was the only game from the box that you can play directly without needing to download the patch to play but supposed newer systems have the capability to play more directly out of the box.

Other backwards compatable games can be played but you will need a samll patch for each game. The game if playable will automatically attepmt to download the patch from xbox live. So you will need to have your Xbox 360 conected to live or have a patch disk. (which is available via the Xbox Magazine disk or can be downloaded online and burned to a disk)

Well first,

Anything you would have to do make a region-free console would void the warranty. If you are not worried about that, there is a way involving installing user created firmware that is modified to remove the region restriction put on your console.

Ok, Its A Good Thing To Unlock Youre Xbox 360, But Theres always problems, Some Times You Can Be Caught, And They Will Ban Youre Ip, Although ive had my xbox 360 unlocked for a year now, nothing happened, but its a good thing, free games. And Ask Around Youre Friends if they can unlock it, btw go on google type name of game and say xbox 360 Torrent, and download Vuze, And It Should Download , Thats Just For The Games,

This is not the case. Microsoft has not converted all games over from the original xbox, to have the ability to play them on the 360. Some game are compatible with the new xbox 360. They are called backwards compatible and you do need to flash upgrade the OS on the new xbox 360 system.

You need to go to the xbox website and go to support and download the flash update then burn it to disk and put it on the xbox to update the software. Again not all old games are compatible with the new xbox system. If your buying used games like I do make sure it says bc next to the title before buying them.

Your DVD drive could be shotty.........
Probably broken, check if you have/still have a warranty for it, if so i would send it in for free/only pay for shipping.
Without warranty it's roughly $120 USD.

One of my firneds had this problem and he actually MODDED his xbox and it fixed this.....
It's surprisingly worth it, I have done it to mine, and you can play your LEGAL backups of your games.
(yes it's legal to have 1 copy of your game)

Go to microsofts website.
You need to download a patch-file. it,s a free download, which you can either burn to a cd. and load into the 360.
or download online connected through xbox live.
