Hello,

I would suggest that you go for Thermaltake Duorb.

Even though its more expensive but it gives you a

perfect technology which keeps your CPU cooler

than your expectations.

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck.

I suspect you mean the Motherboard that has the AMD Phenom II x3 710.

If so then find specifications on that motherboard to see what better, faster? CPU is compatible with it.

Is the Am3+ socket also possible for sapphire AM3RS890G2?

am3+ socket is what the socket is listed on the motherboard, so if you have a CPU that fits only AM3+, the CPU wont fit it unless directed by the CPU manufacture seeing that AM3+ is for AMD processors only if you have a older AM3 CPU it might fit the AM3+ motherboard if listed, this paticular model only lists AM3 and fits Sempron, Phenom II X3, Athlon II X2, Phenom II X2, Athlon II X4, Athlon II X3, Phenom II X4, Phenom II X6

Is it possible to over clock amd phenom 8600b 2.30ghz triple core processor

Yes, every processor can be overclocked, but be very careful when overclocking processors. The increased heat can damage a processor and shorten it's life significantly. Ensure your processor does not get too hot during the oveclocking procedure. All overclocking should be done in small increments. The X3 8600 can be oveclocked to close to 2.7GHz safely with air cooling.
The best overclock is always through the motherboard. Depending on your BIOS you can raise the Front Side Bus (in small increments) in order to bump up the total frequency. If you have an unclocked processor, you can try to raise the multiplier. After every increase, you should stress test your computer using PRIME 95. If your computer locks up, drop down the clock speed and leave it there. Your computer should always be stable. You may have to raise the voltage of your processor to get to where you want. If you give the model of your motherboard, I can give you more detailed instructions.
Make sure you have CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html). - this will show you all the details of your processor. If you would like some more detail, check out this link:http://www.wikihow.com/Overclock-a-PC and feel free to message me. If you didn't understand some of the things in this post, I'd recommend not overclocking your PC - it can be dangerous and ruin your computer if you don't know what you are doing. Alex

Amd athlon ii x3 450 best compitible mother board

asus makes the Best mainboards in my opinion, All AM3 boards. You get what you pay for so it's worth spending a bit more to get a good mainboard.

Example: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 is a really good option, however I myself would pair this mainboard with a AMD Phenom 2. Though your X3 450 will work well in this mainboard too.
The best compatible mainboard would be the ASUS Crosshair IV Formula or Extreme edtion, however your CPU will be a bottle neck in the system.
The ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 is really good looking and it performs really well too.

You could go for an ASUS 785/790/870/880/890 North Bridge chipset AM3 Socket.
You could even purchase an AM3+ mainboard that will support AMD's new Phenom module CPU's.
Go to www.asus.com and check out the AMD mainboard range that they produce.

Take care!

My raid keeps failing and I've had both hard drives thoroughly tested by a reoutable pc repair (overclocker uk) and they say the drives are fine. When I start the pc one moment its ok then next thing it...

My guess is that the RAID adapter (either a separate add-in PCI card, or integrated into the motherboard) is intermittently failing.

Either replace that add-in card, or replace (under warranty???) the motherboard.

Trobleshooting

I had the same issue with my AMD Athlon 3800+ dual core. I found that I wasn't getting enough airflow to keep the system and processor cool. You may want to check the heatsink and fan rating for your processor unless it was sold in a bundle. Also, On AMD's of such power, they tend to run hot if overclocked. Look into, if you haven't already 2 case fans to go along with the processor fans. I recommend a 90mm in front and a 80mm in the rear of the case. If this doesn't help, let me know.
