Sharp EL-5100 Instruction Manual - PDF, full text searchable For anyone who is interested in a soft copy of this manual, I recently scanned my Sharp Scientific Calculator Model EL-5100 Instruction Manual. It consists of 80 pages plus the outside and inside of the front and rear cover pages.
It is available for free from the link provided below.
The PDF file is fully text-searchable, although the OCR could not understand symbols, such as pi, square-root of x, etc.
I've got a manual in the original box I got 30 yrs ago. The calculator's dial is getting to the unreadable state and I'm just about to turf it all out. Is there any particular function you want to know about?

If you have the manual for the calculator it should tell you there. If you dont have it you maybe able to download it for free that should tell you how to remove the decimal point.
My Sharp El-573 calculator is in scientific mode and nothing I do will put it back in regular arithmetic mode. Please tell me how to switch it back. Thanks for any help! Barbara
