Question about HP DeskJet 670c InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Really really slow printing!

Iv got a hp2410 photosmart. the printer is printing but "extreamly" slow! Its taking about 10 minutes to print 1 sheet of paper? Its not a complicated print out either. We have just had to change both ink cartridges, could it be that?

I had the same problem with a hp 4315 it was a bad ink cartridge causing the problem. It did the same for a different hp printer.

I'm using half of A4 size paper and when I print my file on it, it takes 20 seconds after feeding the paper. Is there anything I can do to make it faster?

I fixed your capitalisation, punctuation and grammar. Half of an A4 sheet is an A5 sheet and should take half as long to print an A4 sheet. Print speed is dependent on a number of variables;
Density of colour, the more colour or more blocks of black take longer. Yours is monochrome and these are the specs. You should get 12 pages per minute. It may be that your computer is slow and also is low on available RAM memory. This is an old printer and you may think about upgrading. I had one of these 10 years ago.

Benefits
  • 12 ppm mono printing
  • Zero warm-up time from sleep mode
  • First Print Out Time in only 9.3 seconds
  • Up to 2400 x 600dpi print resolution
  • Energy efficient and quiet operation
  • Easy to use All-in-One cartridge

You should get 12 pages per minutes

Why slow startup (10 min) and slow printing (+ 1 hour)?

Sounds like you may have a mechanical problem with the printer itself.

It really prints so slow

Hi,
Try setting the printing properties to fast draft or draft. It provides a average quality document faster using less ink.
To do this, go to Start->Control Panel and then Printers. Right click on your printer and choose printing preferences. Find the setting for the quality and select Draft or Fast Draft if it is available.
Please note that this printer has a rate of 5.36 pages per minute, so even with the draft you will not see much difference.

Hp c6180 prints and copies very slow?

Here are the specs for your printer

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ph/en/sm/WF06b/18972-18972-238444-410635-410635-1153695-1153696.html

Your printer only can print up to 8.2 black pages per minute and only up to 6 color pages per minute. I think you just bought a really slow printer.

Epson R320 prints REALLY SLOW!

That printer is known for being slow. If you believed a salesperson, they may have not done research either. But the printer is known for acceptable output for a really good price. Heres a review:
