Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
Microwave made sound as if metal was inside when trying to heat a cup of water. Sound is gone now, but the micro doesn't heat anything. Everything else (lights, turntable, fan, clock) works normal.
It sounds like the microwave emitter died.
I have had a couple die on me over the years (they were very old)
that is what they sound like when they die.
sometimes there are even sparks.
sorry, it cannot be fixed, that part costs more than a new microwave (and it probably would not last as long)
