I get the same message when loading cut media. The print manager says that the printer is not connected to the my G5 Imac.

Every time we load a new roll of paper we get this error. Eventually, the plotter will work. But it is a major hassle.

Any time I turn the printer on I get the E0200D error code "size undetected", no matter the size of the sheet. As all I need is just a sample to show me the thing is working, it is supposed to work offline with this, so it is definitely not a problem of connection or software. What can I do??

I had this same problem with my imagePrograf 6400. The error was occuring because I had not properly seated the paper on the paper holder core. It was pushed all the way onto the holder (1/8th of an inch was all it took). Once I made this correction everything worked properly

I think making sure the paper is properly aligned fixes that problem. I get it once in awhile.

The best solution for this problem is to unplugg the 220 volt power cord to reset the memory inside the machine...I did it today and it worked properly.

I was trying to load a roll but had presses the cut sheet button instead. When I pressed the roll button, the error message went away.
