SOURCE: Control panel disassembly

Shut the breaker off to the oven first. Frame around mircowave is a snapped on front. Removing allows access to two screws under control panal. Must actually pull entire unit out about 9 inches to access top of control area to remove access panel. Once front control panel is removed and top is opened, easy access to what you need to get to. Carefully write down color coding of wires before removing any of them. Remove old power supply board and display and reconnect. Reverse process. A bit of work but if you watch the disassembly process carefully, pretty easy.

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

SOURCE: 2003 mitsubishi eclipse gt, how to remove the

if the cig lighter socket is not working, it may simply need a fuse. if you have your car's manual, check to see where your fuse panel is. inspect the fuse(s) and see if its blown, damaged or even darker inside than the others. if so pull out the fuse and replace it with a new one. walmarts auto center usually sells some cheap ones but make sure you get the right fuse. super walmart usually has a mini computer where you can find out.

Remove power bucket seat

Hi Stacy:
Most seats are held in place by bolts that go through the seat frame base into the floor.
To remove the seat,
1) Slide it all the way back and remove the front bolts
2) Slide it all the way forward and remove the back bolts
3) Lift or tip the seat backwards and disconnect the wiring.

How to Replace a Defrost Timer in a refrigerator?

What is timer?
Timer is a small motorized unit that controls the function of defrosts cycle in a refrigerator. The defrost timer tells the refrigerator when to cool and when to defrost any ice frost collected on/in the evaporator coil.
Now the procedure to replace the timer is as follows:--
1) First of all for proper safety please unplug the unit from power outlet.
2) Then to locate the timer. It is located behind the refrigerator beside the compressor of the refrigerator. You will have to remove the metal kick plate on the bottom of the refrigerator. In older models refrigerator it is built into the icemaker unit.
3) In some models timer is fitted by the screws on the side wall of the refrigerator unit. so if screws are seen remove the screws holding the timer to the refrigerator wall.
4) Then slowly/carefully remove the timer out of the unit so you can disconnect the wiring from the connectors. For easy access of connectors try wiggling the connectors back and forth it will be disconnected.
5) Before removing the connectors please take a note of which connector was connected where and in what position.
6) Then take a new timer and plug the connectors in same position and at same spot in the new timer.
7) The refit the screws if you removed while removing the old defrost timer, replace the kick plate cover and plug in refrigerator and check out.
This will help. Thanks.

Raccoon ate ate my sensor wires. Can I override them so I can use my remotes?

The safest thing to do is fix them. It really isn't hard, I have done it myself. The wires are small and you can buy move at hardware store or radio shack. When you get them repaired, spray them with ammonia.. raccoons do not like that. This is from the Internet: Low-Voltage Circuits 1 Raise the garage door using the control button on the garage wall or the remote control unit from a vehicle. Inspect each sensor to make sure the green or red power-indicator lights are illuminated. Proceed to the next step if one or both lights are not illuminated.
2 Stand a stepladder at the area of the garage door opener unit. Unplug the power cord from the outlet at the ceiling. Remove the cover at the back of the unit. Identify the connection terminals where the ends of the low-voltage senor wires attach. Reattach a loose wire to the appropriate terminal. Tighten the terminal screw with a small screwdriver. Plug in the power cord and observe the lights on the sensors. If both lights are not illuminated, proceed to the next step.
3 Inspect the double-strand insulated low-voltage wires from each sensor to the back of the garage door opener. Use the stepladder to inspect the wires near the upper part of a wall and at the ceiling. If no damage is noted, one or both sensors must be replaced. Proceed to the following steps if any wires are bare, burned or broken in one or more places.
4 Loosen the terminal screws that connect the faulty wires at the back of the overhead unit. Start at the ceiling and pull the wires out of the insulated fasteners at the ceiling, walls and along the side of the door opening to the sensor. Disconnect the ends of the wires from the terminals on the sensor.
5 Determine the length of a replacement wire using the faulty wire. Cut a piece of new double-strand insulated low-voltage wire to length with electrical pliers. Strip 1/2 inch of insulation off the both strands at one end. Attach the ends to the appropriate terminals on the sensor.
6 Start just above the sensor. Feed the opposite end of the wire through the fasteners at the side of the door, the wall and the ceiling. Strip the ends of the wires as before. Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals and tighten the screws. Plug in the power cord to the opener unit.

I want to replace a timer on a Whirlpool washer Model# LSN1000KQW

Good day Mr.james dant..

Whirlpool manufactures many types of washing machines. Whirlpool's top load models rely on an analog timer that controls the cycle used to wash the clothes in the washing machine, rather than a digital control board found in most front load models. The timer contains a number of moving parts and is physically turned to choose the wash cycle. Because of the high usage of the timer, it will eventually break, requiring replacement. Rather than calling a service technician to repair the timer, replace the timer yourself to save both time and money.
Instructions
1. Unplug the washing machine from the wall outlet

2. Turn the dial to the "Off" position and then unscrew the knob from the timer. To unscrew, hold the dial with one hand and turn the knob counter-clockwise.

3. Lift the dial off of the washing machine.

4. Remove the two mounting screws securing the timer into position. 5. Remove the two screws from the bottom left and right sides of the control panel, then rotate the control panel up 180 degrees.
6. Remove the wire harness from the old timer and remove the old timer
7. Connect the wire harness to the new timer.

8. Place the timer into the control panel. Hold the timer post with one hand and rotate the control panel back down. Secure the timer into place using the mounting screws that were removed from the old timer
9. Place the dial back onto the timer post and then screw the knob onto the post.
10. Plug the washer back into the wall outlet

How to take a honeywell radiator off the wall

Turn off the circuit breaker to the AC and heating unit. The circuit breaker is inside the home electrical box. The door of your electrical box has a guide indicating which circuit breaker controls the cooling and heating system.Pull the cover off the Honeywell manual thermostat. If necessary, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the cover away from the base of the thermostat. Locate the two small screws securing the sub-base to the base of the thermostat. The sub-base is the portion of the thermostat that has the indicator dial or indicator lever. Remove the screws with a Phillips-head screwdriver, and pull the sub-base away from the thermostat.Remove the screws securing the base of the thermostat to the wall with the Phillips-head screwdriver. Pull the thermostat base away from the wall so you can access the wires.Loosen the terminal screws securing the wires to the back of the thermostat with the flat-head screwdriver. Wrap the wires around a pencil or a large screw. This will prevent the wires from accidentally falling inside the wall cavity.

I can't remove the thermostat from the wallmount, it seems to be stuck together

Hi, the thermostat is in 3 sections. First you will have just the plastic cover that just snaps in place. Then comes the stat. You will have several slot head screws in different areas of the stat to loosen up. You will need a small tip slotted driver as they screws are small. They will not come out, just loosen up. You will know when you have found all of the screws as the thermostat will become loose and you will be able to remove it. The last part is the sub-base. It will have the control wiring connected to it, and is normally held to the wall by a screw and anchor at each end. So, just remember that all stats have 3 sections, cover, thermostat, and last, the main sub-base.

Freeser works, Fridge doesnt. Kenmore Model# 59677275790

Good day,
Two possibilities.
One the fan motor in the freezer behind the rear panel has failed.
Open the freezer door, and listen.
If you cannot hear it running, then remove the rear panel, in the freezer and inspect. Replacing it is a nuts and bolts job.

If O.K. then look at that rear panel, for frost building up. If so, the defrost system has failed.
The defrost system is made up of 3 parts.
The main heater, and defrost thermostat, mounted to the cooling coil, in the same place the fan motor is located.
The third is the timer, which is located on the top rear wall of the fresh food compartment. You will have to remove light covers or a small button to access the advancing shaft.
Turn the shaft with a small screw driver until the machine shuts off.
Wait 35 minutes. If the machine turns back on the timer is O.K.
If not replace.
If the timer checks O.K. you will have to access the heater and the defrost thermostat and test with a VOM meter, or remove and take to an appliance parts house for testing.
Note: The heater rarely fails.

Here is an excellent tutorial on defrost systems.

How do i remove my st699 honeywell programmer from the wall.just cant do it.

Because there are no apparent screws to remove the front of this unit it can be very confusing if you have not done it before. Underneath and to the right hand side you will find a small notch in the plastic, it can be difficult to see when the unit is on the wall, using a small terminal screwdriver push upwards on the plastic tab which locks the front in place and with a slightly larger flat bladed screwdriver prise the front off bottom first then the two locking tabs at the top.
You will probably find that the back case is fastened to the wall with two screws.
Replacement is simply a matter of snapping the front back into the case.
