In most makes and models the red & white are your power, the yellow is the dimmer (if applicable) black is ground, grays, purples, blues, are usually your speaker wires, look at the wires them selves some have writing on them to say what they do, and a wire with a marking on it such as a strip or line is your negative wire (for speakers)
