Question about Cell Phones
Using the phone in Australia looks to be your issue. To the left of the signal bars, do you have a letter there? Like an E or 3G? You probably need to edit the phone's APN settings as it comes with T-Mobile settings even though it is unlocked, you need to set this up for your carrier in Australia. Your phone carrier will get you the APN settings, or you can search google for them, each carrier has different settings.
1. At the WELCOME TO MOTOBLUR screen, Select Language
2. Press the menu key
3. Select APN
4. Press the menu key again and then select new APN connection
5. Contact your service provider to ensure APN connection settings is correct.
