I Have a compaq laptop model No. A902TU with windows xp professional sp2. I dont have its Driver CD. so please help me out. I have even searched out compaq site but i didnt found it there even.so plz help me fast.

Your Compaq came with Vista installed. Finding drivers for XP Pro with SP2 seem to be very troublesome. Somewhere HP Compaq has these drivers for you laptop. If you call them & they find out you bought XP Pro they will not support you in finding the proper drivers for XP Pro. How ever you can call & ask what it will cost for a recovery CD for XP Pro w/SP2.
Click the link to Compaq & listed is your laptop & what software & drivers are listed. If you need other drivers that are not listed, post what you want I'll try & find them for you. Please be as detailed as possible.

I called Compaq. You can buy a recover CD for Windows XP w/SP 2. If the notebook is still in warranty the CD will cost between $10.00 to $12.00 US. If it is out of warranty. (well they did not mention that. The number to buy the recovery CD is
1-800-952-7689. Yes it will over write VISTA.

I had the same issue (bought A902TU today and dont want pre-loaded Vista)

I found the drivers here:

I checked the spec of that guys machine and its the same chipset, etc. Installed all the drivers and they all work except for the Ethernet driver.. Am gonna go look for that now :)
