Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Contact your Cellular service provider. Depending on the exact model number of your phone, they may be able to send a signal to the phone which will cause the phone to sound an alarm through the phone's speaker when someone attempts to use it. They can provide more information, so you should contact them immediately.

My phone was stolen yesterday. i want to blocked it now.its SAMSUNG CHAMP COLOR: DEEP BLACK, SAMSUNG GT-C3303K, SERIAL NUMBER: 8806071000039, IMEI NUMBER: 353373040799797

1 call your carrier (give this info to them)........to track, block it or shut it down.... this will also help you with the billing (you will not get bill from the time you lost it).......you can also change the message, letting close ones know you are okay you just do not have the cell anymore...

2 get a police report that it was stolen (your carrier is nice, but they can get down right nasty too)

Need 2 get my puk code.

At the time when you enter a wrong pin number three times the phone asks you for a PUK number. The PUK code is generally eight digit number This PUK number is an unlocking code which helps you to unlock the phone and use it. If you enter a wrong PUK number 10 times than you simcard gets rejected. Then you will have to buy a new simcard. It might happen that your phone might ask you for PUK2 after you enter your PUK number. You can find the PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack. If you do not have this then contact your phone service provider. Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once they have confirmed your identity to prevent any stolen SIM access.

WHAT I DO IF MY PHONE IS STOLEN HOW I CAN TRACK IT

"my phone is stolen how i can track it" (sic) Asked, many times, always the same answer, unless you are the CIA, or similar, you can NOT Track a phone, and even then certain conditions must exist for even them to do so. . If stolen, **** it up, because that's all you can do, vow to always keep your phone with 24/7 from now on, and get a new one, if you have insurance, make a claim. Remember Karma is a *****, the person who stole your phone WILL eventually get their Comeuppance karmic paybacks a *****.

Got a tracker on my phone but dont know how to use it I have no instructions in my manual

You enter a phone number which you would like to be contacted through in the event your phone is lost or stolen. You can also include a message.

When your sim is removed from the phone and replaced with the 'finders' sim your mobile will automatically send a text message with the wording you have inputed to your chosen number. This wll include the phone number of the sim which is now being used in your missing handet,

This means you have a contact number for the person who is in possession of your phone

Hello, my phone got stolen 2 weeks ago. It was a sony ericcson w350i. The IMEI number: 35586502-317908-5 please help me trace it

I agree with bunnydawg here fully. I don't foresee you ever getting your phone back. But you can at the least stop the thief from making toll calls and burning though your minute plan. You probably have a chance at arguing with your carrier about the minutes used since the phone was stolen. Other than that, you're pretty much out of luck :(

Mobile stolen

Unlike the Electronic Serial Number or MEID of CDMA and other wireless networks, the IMEI is only used to identify the device, and has no permanent or semi-permanent relation to the subscriber. Instead, the subscriber is identified by transmission of an IMSI number, which is stored on a SIM card which can (in theory) be transferred to any handset. However, many network and security features are enabled by knowing the current device being used by a subscriber.

If a mobile phone is stolen, the owner can call his or her network provider and instruct them to "ban" the phone using its IMEI number. This renders the phone useless, regardless of whether the phone's SIM is changed.

Imei number blocked

Hi,
There Is a way To Unlock Your IMEI Code.
You have To Pay for This service, as It Is A new Security Feature On Mobile Phones And Other Devices.
The IMEI Code, Is A security Feature to attempt to stop Lost And Stolen Mobile Phones. To Enable the Unlocking Of Any IMEI Phone. You Pay To Have The Phone Hooked Up to A Telephone Line Service ( mobile Phone Shops Do This ) Costs £15-£20 Usually. The phone Has To Be Authorised, to be unlocked By 1:) your Service/Network Provider. 2:0 Security Checked To Ensure The Phone Is Not reported As Stolen Or Lost. It Can Be Done, But If It,s Nicked Forget It.
If it,s Your Own, And You,ve locked it in error.
Take it To A good Mobile Shop, And get It Unlocked.
This Also de-Brands the Phone ( gets rid of some Logos on Screen )
