If the computer is slow to boot up, there are several factors to take into account. The RAM could be going bad. The hard drive may be going bad. There could just simply be too much "junk" on the computer and it may just need defragmented and cleaned out.

Trying to set switch for 5 minutes , and i only get 30 seconds or 15 minutes

Which brand and model number specifically?
Leviton: 1-800-824-3005
Leviton Decora manual says:
"PR180 operates by detecting motion (such as body heat) within its field-of-view (area of coverage) and automatically switches lights ON. When motion is no longer detected, lights remain ON for a selected time and automatically switch OFF.
Adjustable light and time-delay controls are located on the front of the device."

The manual is not specific about set times.

In any case, the device has off-delay timing circuit, so once infrared heat is no longer sensed, the delay period begins, and once the delay period expires, the device is switched off.
Delay timing circuits are common for many home and industrial applications.
As a general rule, delay timers can be set for different time durations, however the Amazon page that sells PR180 product does not specify available time settings either.

Legrand RW3U occupancy sensor spec sheet says adjustable time delay 15 seconds 5 minutes, 15 minutes and 30 minutes
http://www.amazon.com/Legrand-RW3U603I-Occupancy-Vacancy-Decorator/dp/B005FMLL5G

Delay switches
Here is manual delay-time switch Tork SS20 SS13 where you can 'fine-tune' the delay circuit, but my experience is that exact 5 minutes is not easily set:
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Paragon-ET-series-243.jpg
GE 15318 switch offers 5 minute, but there is no guarantee that you can get 5 minutes exactly:

My conclusion is that there are very limited delay-time choices with this model number, or device is defective and suggest to call Leviton.

Check that your pool heater supports optional fireman's switch
Black wires on firemans switch connect to pool heater. Power to fireman switch comes from pool equipment and not the timer.
If pool equipment does not support fireman, then cap off the wires.

Fireman switch turns off heater 15-20 minutes before turning off pump.
The purpose is so pool equipment lasts longer.

You can buy the fireman's switch separately, but if this is new timer, then switch is probably good.
Open following link to identify fireman's switch and related parts for the timer:

My motorola bravo just started running slow. Everything on my phone has a delayed response. What do I do

Download the free app called "advanced task killer"
use that to end any running apps.
with android OS, every time you open an application, it stays running in the background, after using the phone for a while it will start to slow down since you are probably running 20 apps in the background, use the task killer to stop them from running in the background.
Good luck!

Ver, very SLOW when booting up! Sometimes the

BIOS System defaults are best used for installing a new operating system or performing diagnostics. Bootchecks and memory checks due to settings on antivirus/antispyware programs are notorious for causing slow boots. In most cases these scans are unnecessary. Saying that, it is also possible you have acquired a trojan. Run a full system scan and if you have a clean machine, disabling the bootchecks and memory checks will speed up your booting. If after doing this your boots are still slow, tweak your BIOS as follows per Intel:

  • Set the hard drive as the first boot device in the boot order in the BIOS setup (Boot > Boot Device Priority menu).
  • Enable Intel® Rapid BIOS boot in the BIOS setup (Boot menu).
  • Disable Hard Disk Pre-Delay in the BIOS Setup (Advanced > Drive Configuration menu).
  • Disable system functions and features if you do not need them. Examples include:
    • Legacy USB - this must be enabled if you use a USB keyboard or USB mouse outside the Windows* environment (Advanced > USB Configuration).
    • Unused I/O ports, such as serial, parallel and IEEE-1394 ports (Advanced > Peripheral Configuration menu).
    • Event logging (Advanced > Event Log Configuration menu).
I hope you find this solves your problem. All the best! Greg

Emails are delayed sometimes up to 20 minutes.

absolutely normal. e-mail delivered based on network traffic. More traffic = slow delivery. Less traffic = fast delivery.

Hey ... a message delivered anywhere in the world in 20 minutes. Tell your grand parents of this "problem".

you more than likely have a bad "SSB" module the eeproms get corrupted, if the eeprom is bad you will need a tech to swap out the module because you have to have service manual to do some adjustments after replacing that module, good luck
