Your problem is almost deffinately the brew head. It will need to be removed, the backside of it cleaned and then reassembled.

How badly scaled was the backsurface of the brewhead. If it was bad then i would now try the machine.

Hi,
Fill it up the tank with descaler and start the machine on descaling. Leave it to trow all the liquid and must finish to the bottom, leave the machine to get AIR when descaler finished. Then the machine will stop and will tell you to put fresh water to clean . Fill the water tank to the MAX level and continue with the program. When the water is on minimum ,machine will stop, and the descaling process must be finished.
Good luck

I have a Gaggia Syncrony Compact machine which I am trying to descale. I have added the descaler to the water in the tank. when you hold down the button (26) more than 5 seconds nothing happens. What is the...

To descale the appliance proceed as follows:

• Mix the descaler with water as specified on

the package and fill the water tank.

• Switch ON the appliance with the ON/OFF
switch (7).

• Press the button (26) for at least 5 seconds to

select the descaling operating mode; the LED
emits a fixed light.
I noticed you did not mention the switch ON before you pushed button 26. Try that should work.

No water comes out on ventilate. At first, the water was coming out very slowly, in drips. The doser or grind were not the problem, because even when I switched to Hot Water, it was still dripping. ...

Hi
It should take about 45 minutes to an hour to properly descale the machine. If it only took a couple of minutes you really didn't descale your machine. If you used the powder it has to disolve completly before descaling. The best way to descale is with the descaler in the tank. Turn on the machine and run about 8 ozs of water-descaler through the wand and then turn off the machine. Wait 10 minutes and repeatthe last procedure. Do this until the tank is empty. When done with the descaler, rinse out the tank and put fresh water in the tank and run the whole tank through the wand. Then fill the tank and your ready to go.

Gaggia Classic - water not flowing

Remove the screw and shower in the group, then press the brew button, if water flows then clean shower. I will send instructions for descale and backflush. Cut time for backflush by half.

Lack of water pressure

Try Descaling your machine with Descaling solution. Your group head may be clogged with calcium deposits which will cause a pressure loss.

If you need descaler you can purchase it at http://cerinicoffee.com/Dezcal_descaler_4pack.asp
