Question about Acer Aspire 9300 Notebook

# ERecovery error Burning INT15 error eRecovery must be terminated Hello. My problem is that i erased by mistake (i recognise it was big mistake) all ACER ASPIRE programs. To be exact, Empowering Technology Framework Launcher, with its utilities(eRecovery,eLock,eSettings,etc...) I went to Acerglobal site(Europe affording area,Panam,etc...)and i downloaded empowering technology framework, with some utilities only, but i really couldnt find the appropriate(for my model)eRecovery utility,so i installed other eRecovery(for other model !),to reset to factory settings my model.I followed all instructions(POST BIOS,etc...) and now, every startup, coming message: "INT15 ERROR.eRECOVERY MUST BE TERMINATED!" .Have in mind that Acer Support Team is somehow dissapeared!(no reply!) Sorry for this big text, but i need either Acer appropriate program,or suggestions-proposals(Any help is acceptable). THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE.

Possible answers for this issue are: finding the appropriate eRecovery version for your pc. Acer Global site and pan america are the best to look at.
When reinstalling my aspire 3050 with win xp home i found that the drive had to be fat32 and uninstalling acer empowering platform would fix the error. Acer need to be more proactive in providing solutions for there hardware.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

### If I restore my factory Settings from eRecovery will it erase my operating system? and will it erase the Linux O/S I have installed on it?

If you do a restore to Factory Settings from eRecovery, all your data and programs would be erased and your system would return to it's original state of what it was when you purchased, Acer eRecovery restores the factory backup (default Acer preload), so if your machine came pre-loaded with any Windows OS, hope you had configured the eRecovery settings before hand and yes you will loose the Linux O/S install

### Factory default disc on acer 4520G

Hello,

If you have Nero of Power ISO installed you can right click the .iso file and there should be a command in the shortcut menu that states "burn with Nero" or burn iso with Power ISO, etc. this should apply to other disc burning software you have installed.

As you may know, .iso files are a compressed disc image file that contains the data layout for a complete CD or DVD. Most of the time, burning an iso image from first opening your disc burning software is more difficult but can be done by hunting through your software's menu commands.

Hope this has fixed ya!

### ERecovery error

Acer....gotta love it...
You aren't alone when looking for help with Acer's framework technology.
What you're going to want to do is use the Msconfig utility to work around this problem. To start msconfig click on Start, select Run, type msconfig in the Run text box then click on OK.

Next select the Startup tab when msconfig opens. Look in the list for eRecovery Service and uncheck it. Select Apply and then OK when done. It will pop a message that a restart is require for changes to take effect. Restart the system.

From what I've read, this may or may not completely fix the INT15 Error eRecovery must be terminated error message. If it doesn't, go back into msconfig/startup and look to see if PCMService has been unchecked. If so, recheck it, select apply and OK, then reboot.

This was all the info I could dig up so I'm not 100% sure if the suggestions are guaranteed to work.

Good luck and let us know if it helped
