How to adjust vertical size on Panasonic CT-27G14A TV
I have a Panasonic CT-27G14A TV which works perfectly except that the picture is slightly vertically stretched. I learned how to access the service menu, only to find out that the service menu on this model does not provide a vertical size adjustment. . So, I'm assuming there is a trimmer pot or coil inside that I need to tweak. Can someone give me a clue on how to find it and proceed with the adjustment? Thanks in advance!

Check its vertical output section circuit for any component damage or loose soldering terminals. Check the solder terminals of the vertical output IC. Resolder all the suspected solder terminals by applying al little more fresh solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjacent solder terminals. If this do not help you, replace the vertical output IC. Lose of Vertical Scan is the problem of your TV.
Sorry,u must have it orignal codes, there noway to unlock secrect personal codes.U push the channels + or - buttons manual controls couples times.Might get in the tv input.Hook up,use it with DVD player can watch DVD Disc thought.Sorry, you probally only can watch shows rated Y for children only.
There are some components in the vertical deflection circuit area that are failing. An experienced TV service man should be able to troubleshoot and repair this for you. It could take several hours of labour cost.
Has the image been "zoomed" into? This is usually the result of a image that has been adjusted to fill the screen. This is not the same as adjusting the aspect ratio as that would still show the entire image even if distorted. When the image is cropped or is missing information, a zoom feature is usually the culprit.
If this isn't the problem, you maybe able to adjust the TV's horizontal/vertical placement through the TV's onscreen menu but only if it provides that option. Do you see other channels that appear to fit properly? I have seen certain channels not fit correctly while others do and this is due to the signal, not your TV.
check Vertical IC out (LA78..) and resistor voltage supply from flyback transformer to this ic. Check the STR main power supply(and resistor near, change value), some times seems good out main board, but in operation not good
