I forgot my wep key and router username/password

Use first the default username and password according to your router's manual. If it doesn't work reset the router. Look for the reset pin hole on the back of the router. Press and hold it down for 1 seconds.
After that use the default username and password for sure this time it will work. As soon as you are able to access the configuration page of your router please setup a new WEP key to keep you network secured.

I can't connect to the internet in my house. I have WiFi, but my laptop keeps asking for my 8 digit PIN and I cannot find it. I've tried every number on the bottom of the router...not one of them...

It would have been a password set in the router menu which would be accessible by a IP address in your web browser. You would need to reset the router. This is done by holding in the reset button for 10 seconds. It will reset the browser back to factory defaults. Just keep in mind that if there was any configurations done to get the WI-FI to work with your laptop then they will have to be setup again.

Want to reset to factory settings on my Wireless G 2.4 GHz broadband router

you can do that by accessing the router's setup page on 192.168.1.1 or you may want to use a pin and use it to press the reset button for more than 1 min. If that does not work at the 1min mark, keep holding the reset button while unplugging the power and putting it back in.

I dont know my key or passphrase

Not sure what brand of wireless router you have but most have a system reset in the back where you stick in a pin to reset it to the factory settings, then you should be able to login without any password, this will completely reset the router so you'll need to setup security again if you had that setup before.

Fogotten security pin

Are you trying to connect to the wireless network on a WINDOWS VISTA / 7 computer? Sometimes on the windows vista computer , it will ask you for the PIN number when you try to connect to the wireless network. On the same window at the bottom you will find the option " I want to connect to the network or I want to enter the key manually". If you click on that option , it will ask you for the security key.
If you don't know the security key, then you will need to check the settings of the router. You will need to open the router set up page where you can check all the wireless settings of teh router. If you want, you can also find the PIN on the wireless settings page of the router.
If you are trying to connect any other wireless device to the network and it is asking you for the PIN then you will need to open the set up page of the router and under wireless settings you will find PIN.

Can not get my wii console to connect to my wireless router. It is a belkin and it keeps asking for a password.

To login to router setup page you need to connect the router with a ethernet cable to one of your computer or laptop then open a page of internet explorer and type in browser address bar http://192.168.2.1 and it will ask for username and password the username is by default "admin" and password is blank do not type anything in password and press ok you will go to the page of the router

  1. Then go to wireless settings and you can check what is the wireless security password, you can use the same to connect your wireless computer to your router to access internet wirelessly
  2. If you are not able to login to router setup page then you might need to reset the router from the reset button
Please let me know if this will help

Can't access Belkin setup page 192.168.2.1 anymore.

There should be a small reset pin hole in the back of the device. Hold down the reset button for 15 seconds and it should reset the router to factory defaults
