Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Your some what not going to like the answer - Yes it can be fixed, best to have it done by HP though so you will be without for a spell. It could be as simple as a loose connection - but more likely the impact shock took out video module.
Is there any visible sign that the lid/monitor is cracked?
The alternative is to live with it and use an external monitor which defeats the purpose of a laptop. sorry - sounds like it hit on the corner of the lid
