If you type "showmax on hisense smart TV" in google it will give you several sites that tell you how to set it up. One claims to only take 2 minutes. Give this a try.
Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
You may find it at remotes.com but no one here can tell you anything you need since you didn't tell us both the TV and the remote's model numbers.
If your TV is 42". the model number shown isn't yours.
Why not phone Hisense and ask them. The phone number number should be listed in your directory and they will tell you where the Hisense outlet is to purches .. and u can ask them about a universal one
Does anyone know where I can get a remote for a Hisense 22" TV? I've bought a universal remote but after reading other people's experiences with the Hisense remote, I'm reluctant to even try it.
Call Hisense for a firmware upgrade. Screen on our Hisense suddenly went blank last weekend too and aparently there was a broadcast that had upset a lot of models. Hisense Support will send you out a USB stick with a firmware upgrade
It sounds as though you have a bad start up circuit. This problem could be a transistor , capacitor, scr, diac or several other components in the power supply. This is not a problem a non trained person can repair as you will need to trouble shoot the circuit board. If you do have experience in trouble shooting components, start in the power supple with the regulator transistor, and also always check the horizontal output transistor before moving on to the transformer. Good luck and I hope this has helped in some way.
