Question about Whirlpool Accubake RF362LXTS Electric Kitchen Range

1 Answer

Whirlpool error message EO-F3 and E4-F3 sometimes while cooking, when trying to use the clean oven mode (which will not even function), and sometimes when the timer goes off (inevitably shutting the oven down). According to a codes book we found on a link to on here..the sensor is the only (most likely) problem. So, we called the local repair shop and was told we need a new oven sensor. Prior to testing the oven sensor, we tested the temp of the oven as it was. Once brought to temp of 400 degrees and higher it began to increase by 50 degrees over the setting we selected. Since our oven has two sensors, it was a matter of trial and error. We concluded that neither made a difference, and are back to square one with the whole thing. What next?? Oh, and in the midst of the trial we got a F4AAA message across the screen as well.

Bad EOC. Have to change the oven control. Sorry but this will be the only repair unless you know some one who can take it apart and repair some connections by using a soldering iron. Good luck.

WHEN MY WHIRLPOOL BUILT IN OVEN MODEL RBS305PRS00 IS BAKING IT SOMETIMES CUT OFF AND YOU HEAR A CLICKING NOISE AND IT WILL DISPLAY EO F3.I CAN TURN THE OVEN OFF AND IT WILL BEEP AND DISPLAY EO F3.AFTE

That's an oven sensor error. Replace the oven sensor. If you still have the error, check the wiring and/or replace the timer/clock board.

Good luck!

Whirlpool GR396LXGQ oven comes on by itself & goes into clean cycle, code reads E2 -F3-

Whirlpool F3 faults relate to temperature problems in the oven. In the case of the error E2-F3, F3 is the general fault code and E2 is the specific error code. An E0-F3 error indicates that the oven's temperature sensor is open; E1-F3, that the temperature sensor is shorted; E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 575 degrees Fahrenheit in "Cook" mode; and E3-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 950 degrees Fahrenheit in the clean mode. Here is the probe to order.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Fault code E4 F3

The F3 codes mean that the oven temperature sensor has a problem. In the case of the E4 error, it is an open circuit. (If the GR465XLS0 is a double oven model, it's the lower oven with the problem with the sensor.)

You need to replace the sensor. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that you have provided the correct model number. Most Whirlpool ovens have an extra character in the model number. If your model is the GR465LXLS0, the temperature sensor will cost ~$65. One source is http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/whirlpool-oven-sensor-assembly-item-number-ap4326911.aspx .

I hope this helps.

F2 &F3 error codes, oven keeps beeping, I already tried turning off circuit breaker did not solve problem

F2
- E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch
pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm
connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code
returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane
switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this
case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock). F2 - E1 Keypad cable unplugged F2 - E5 Cancel key drive line open F2 - E6 Cancel key drive line open F3 - E0 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) opened (upper oven,
if double oven) Replace Oven temperature
sensor (RTD)

Note: Applies to all F3-E...
codes. F3 - E1 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) shorted (upper
oven, if double oven) F3 - E2 Oven temperature is too high (Cook
mode) F3 - E3 Oven temperature is too high (Clean
mode) F3 - E4 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) opened (lower oven,
if double oven) F3 - E5 Oven temperature sensor (RTD) shorted (lower
oven, if double oven) F3 - E6 Warming drawer sensor open F3 - E7 Warming drawer sensor
shorted

Whirlpool Gold Accubake Duo. ''E4 - F3'' or ''E0 - F3''

HI. These codes are an indication of oven temperature sensor failure. The sensor is damaged. This will not allow for proper operations. The affected part must be replaced, asap.

The sensor is, generally, located inside the oven, mounted on the back wall, on the top right, or left corner. It will look like a 4 inch long slender probe. There will be two screws holding the housing on the back of the oven wall. Once the screws are removed, the sensor will need to be extracted from the back side of the unit.
