1999 Ford f150 aftermarket ignition disabler problems

I have a 1999 Ford f150 with a aftermarket ignition disabler under the dash. I have to push a key into the blinking receptacle before my engine will start. I want to remove this system from my truck so I can start the truck in the standard way. The key says ''Enforcer'' on it but that is all the info. I have on the product. How can I remove or disable this product? Thanks

Sounds like a good theft proof system. I would trace all the wires and see where they go befor removing anything see if the thing disable breaks a circut when you turn it on it complets a circut. thats what i would be looking for.

Check the fuses in the fuse box under the dash and theignition fuses under the hood one might have blown I would start with the ones under the dash I had this problem before. If the engine ran before then the computer boxes and control modules must be good you have I believe two ignition fuses one. Under the hood and the other under the dash. Hope this helpd

Dash light on key off f150 ford

most likely is ignition switch. it is adjustable. under the dash on the steering column there are two bolts that holt a square box onto the column. that is the ignition switch. may need to be slid down towrds the pedals. can be aggravating trying to fine adjust it. if that doesnt work, replace it. about 25$

Problem with starting 89 F150 straight drive. Ignition or clutch?

Sit up on the clutch paddle, follow the clutch paddle up under the dash, the rod that goes through the fire wall to the clutch master cylinder, sit around that rod, will have a six pin connector going to it.
