ROMS means Read Only Memory, and pertains to CD drives and unchageable memory. Do you possibly mean RAM?

If youmean RAM, remove the RAM sticks and install them carefully until they click, then restart the computer.

If thsi is not clear, please provide more information.

"The BIOS can not shadow the ROM into system memory."
This is usually caused by the ROM on a card trying to use the same memory space.
Remember all of the ROMs have only the memory addresses from C800 to FFFF in the first megabyte available for shadow.
This was designed in in the first IBM PC and remains to this day.
Remove the other cards, and turn off both system ROM shadow, and video ROM shadow.

Dvd rom is not shown in my computer dvd and cd is not played

Check ur dvd rom connection to ur board.
Check the SLAVE/MASTER jukmper settings!
Go to ur control panel and check ur ROM if it is in ur system, or try to auto detect hardware!
that might solve ur probs!

I add another dvd rom to my PC but it refuses to load my operating system. my OS is windoow xp celeron iv with 40G hard disk. Desktop computer with 256GHz ram. I eqully returned the rom using corect...

there may be a clash of IRQs of the DVD ROMs....
the 1st DVD ROM has been alotted a IRQ and then you connected the 2nd DVD ROM but the OS does not know which DVD ROM drive to look for while loading the OS to look for the boot CD....based on the setting in BIOS for boot order....
plus you may have to define both the DVD roms as primary and slave by making changes in the jumper cables...
(google and loacte the solution for the jumper setting for that)

Monitor des not get signals

Look for any bent pins of the mouse & keyboard cable jacks(PS2). If any key is depressed then the PC wont start-up and continue to remain blank except for the power led. If you had disconnected any wires during re-fixing your CD ROM, check them again and if possible everything else other than Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse.......sodeep.
PS: disconnect your CD-ROM (wiring only) & check the sttus too!

The cd-roms @ new dvd rom with the red cable makes the cpu freez no icons

The DVD drive you are trying to use uses a SATA (serial ATA) connection (the red cable). If the drive came with any software on a disk, you should install the drivers for it. Otherwise check the manufacturer's website for information and/or drivers for the installation of the drive.
