Question about Leadtek GeForce® 8800 GTS, (320 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card
Greetings. I am experiencing a problem with my 8800GTS graphics card, when i start up my pc the bios screen is littered with (odd characters) and my mainboard screen has rows of vertical dotted lines, however windows 7 still works fine apart from NOT being able to play games obviously and the vertical lines being less brighter when watching movies.Im getting Code 43 in adapter display / device manager has made me download new Gfx drivers but to no avail. My gfx card fan also still works but apparently that doesnt mean much... Help me please, im not satisfied that my card is truly dead
Check to see your direct x status by typung dxdiag in run and test if they all pass then I would check the card wattage rating and you max power supply load the card may be to much for your power supply
