I would try to get the computer up in safe mode. In safe mode only the operating system comes up. You should be able to get to the control panel and programs add/remove. Remove the software for the blue tooth program. If you cannot remove the software in that manner, then look for the software under c:\program files. There should be a folder with the associated software name. Rename the folder. Then reboot the system. You should be able to come all the way up.

Now how do you get to the safe mode boot. Start the computer and as it is starting up, keep hitting the F8 button. At some point you should get a black screen menu. Select the safe mode option from that screen. There is also an option to select the last good configuration, you could try that option first to see if it gets you around the problem.

If your system boots up to the password and ignores the F8 the first time, shut it down and start again. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get to the menu.

Good Luck, make sure you come back and indicate how well this works. thanks.

Usb dongle is not working

Step 1:
A Bluetooth dongle is an external Bluetooth device used to enable your PC's Bluetooth connection. Many Bluetooth dongles come without installation disks since the software is pre-programmed into the actual USB stick. These Bluetooth dongles are very useful on netbooks that don't have Bluetooth connection, since netbooks have no CD-Rom drives. Turn on your PC. Insert the USB Bluetooth dongle into the USB port on your desktop tower, or the USB ports located on the perimeter of your laptop. Wait for the program to auto run. Once you connect your dongle, the driver program should launch. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the dongle. A dialogue box should open that says "Installing Drivers" from the taskbar. Allow the driver to install completely before closing the box. Unplug the dongle and restart your PC. Once the PC has been switched on, insert the dongle. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." This is the Bluetooth icon located in your taskbar, and it should launch the "Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard." Click "Next" on the first screen. Next, type in the name of your computer and select your computer type from the drop-down menu, then click "Next." Click "Skip" on the onscreen prompts, then finish. Pairing the Devices Turn on your external Bluetooth device. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." Select "Find Bluetooth Devices." The name your Bluetooth device should display in the next window. Right click the icon for your Bluetooth device, and scroll down to "Pair Device." Enter the Bluetooth pin code for your external device in the "Bluetooth Pin Code Request" pop-up window. Then click "OK." The default pin code is normally "0000" or "12345." You can find your pin code in your user manual. If you are pairing a cell phone to your PC, you will have to enter the same pin code on your cell phone to establish the Bluetooth connection.

The Bluetooth Stack protocol feature on a Toshiba Satellite laptop is an excellent feature that enables you to import and export files and media of all types to other electronic devices. Although the initial configuration of this software may not be the easiest to understand, the benefits of this technology can be unlimited once it is activated correctly.

Double-click on the "Bluetooth Stack" icon located on the desktop screen of your computer. Enable the "Bluetooth Discovery Mode" located in the "Connection Settings" folder at the top of the application menu bar. The computer will give a notification when the Discovery Mode has successfully been turned on. Turn ob the other electronic devices' Bluetooth settings as well to make them discoverable by your laptop. Pair another electronic device with your laptop. Select the "Add Device" tab, located in the "Bluetooth Stack" application folder's task bar. Click "Add" to gain access to the "Bluetooth Add Device Wizard." When the wizard dialogue screen appears, click "Next" to begin setting up the device connection. Your Bluetooth Add Device Wizard will now discover the electronic devices that are discoverable within range. Locate the device you are trying to pair when the next page loads with the list of devices your computer's Bluetooth Stack has discovered. The other electronic devices will be listed according to their actual serial or model numbers. If you do not see the device you desire to pair, click the "Search Again" button. When your computer discovers the device, click on that device to highlight it, and click "Next" to continue. The next screen that appears will display a list of options. Click the third option, which should be "Let me choose my own passkey." Enter a password that is easy to remember. A notification will be sent to the other electronic device. It will ask that device for the same passkey. Enter that passkey and click "Pair." The last screen that will appear on your computer screen will prompt you to confirm the pairing of the software. Click "Finish" to confirm the pairing of the detected device to close the "Add Bluetooth Device Wizard" dialogue box. Open the "Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard" to use the software. Select "Browse" to locate the file destination you'd like to transfer. Give the file a name in the box allotted above the file's location. Click "Next" to proceed. The next screen will notify you of the status of the file transfer. The file transfer should be complete. Click "Finish" to complete the process. For future use, go to the file or device you would like to work with and right-click on the item. A drop-down menu will appear. Click the Bluetooth icon to locate your Bluetooth Stack software. Follow the steps listed above to continue with the process again. Hope this helps.

Hello, Not knowing the brands or models of your pc and mobile phone, for that you nedde that your pc recognizes the modem that your phone has inside of it. Usually, first install the software on the pc, then connect the phone and watch what happens. Should load/recognize the modem in your phone. You can always perform a software update for your phone and try it again. Regards.
