Yes,

Change your "Windows" configurations, and QuickBooks will comply.

I tried to duplicate the problem on my own computer. (windowsXP)

    1) I went to windows, settings, control panel and selected the

    "Regional and Language Options" Icon

    2) On the "Regional Options" tab, I clicked-on the "Customize" button

    3) On the "Date" Tab, I set the "Short Date Format" to: dd-mmm-yy

    4) I then opened "QuickBooks Pro 2007" and the date displayed correctly (in the checkbook register)

If windows is set correctly, QuickBooks should comply. The only other reason I can think of.... my QuickBooks reveals R13 - do you have the most current update/patch? (in QB press "Ctrl+1" then RXX will be revealed on first line)

You can get current update/patch at:

My office has the Prostar 816 phone and the manual is not detailed at all.. I needed to know how to change the time (due to time change) Our manual says #55 etc etc... Help me please!

To change the time on a prostar 816 you first need to be at a display set (doesn't matter what the extension number is).
with the handset down, enter #20 the screen should say MMC DISABLED
1) enter in 1 2 3 4 1 # (that enables programming2.gif)
2) enter in #55 the screen should say YYMMDDWHHMM
3) enter in the year, month, day, day of the week, hours and minutes(the day of the week values are 1= mon. 2= tues. etc.)
press # when finished.

How many times OS has been installed on system.

sorry. but no way to know because each time an OS is install. The drive gets formatted. All the previous information usually is gone. Even by chance they did a quick format and some information in retained on the drive. you will need someone professional to retrieve it and still maybe can only retrieve 10% of the previous information.

DATE DIFERANCE BETWEEN SELECTED COLOUMN

Are you trying to figure the difference in days between these dates and one single date (Dec. 31, 2008 for example)?

Whatever you're trying to do, here is the formula, assuming you're starting in A1:
Put the first date in the format Day-Month-Year in numbers (Sept. 3 is 03-09-2008)
Then put your other date in B1, in Day-Mo-Yr format (31-12-2008 for Dec. 31, 2008)
In C1 put B1-A1 and that will give you the number of days between those two dates.
