Tell all your friends, in case somebody 'borrowed' it and forgot to return it. You have to report the theft to your parents, your teacher, your school principal, maybe even the police. If you cannot find it, use your money allowance to buy a new calculator.

I have got the box of my casio fx-82es plus, someone has stolen it. How can I prove its mine? please help me

Some people do not care much about the packaging and throw it. From what I know about these calculators, in North America they ship in a clam shell (plastic wrap) and not a box. I do not believe it proves anything. Unless you have a written document with a serial number. But these calculators do not have a serial number. Go buy yourself a calculator and take better care of it.

Calculator stolen

I am sorry to disappoint you. I looked on the back of two different Casio Calculators and there is nothing that could be considered a Serial Number (Unique Identification number). If you had a serial number on a bill of sale or receipt and find the calculator with the same serial number you could claim it is your. But there is no such a number for this class of calculators. Get yourself another one and take better care of it. How do you know the person you accuse of stealing your calculator has not bought one too?

Unlock code unkown can u help and no its not stolen just brought wagon and old owner doesnt know it

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Hello, I'm a police detective in Pennsylvania. A Texas Ins. TI-84 calculator showed up at our local pawn shop and appears to be stolen from Huston TX area. Because of the distance, I want to make sure...

Hello Sir,
The serial number of a TI84Plus calculator is found on the back of the calculator, between the two elongated depressed areas.
The structure of the identification number (serial number followed by manufacturing date) is as follows
dddddddddd_L-ddddL
where d stands for a digit, and L for a letter.
The string of 10 digits at the beginning is unique (that is the serial number) but the rest is not.

I checked the serial numbers of 7 different types of TI graphing calculators I own, and the structure is I described to you. There is one exception. The serial numbers of the TI92 and TI92Plus contain a letter V, at the beginning for one model and in the middle for the other. Whether containing one letter or not the first string is 10 characters long.

Good Luck Lieutenant.

Is there a cost effective way to run class sets of TI-84's? It has become increasingly expensive each year to keep our calculators running with regular batteries.

There is a way, and that is to use rechargeable batteries. Panasonic boast that their eneloop brand can hold 80% of the charge for a full year (if not used) Also, do not allow students to transfer 3rd party programs that they can play with in class. The 3rd party programs may be ill-designed and may (intentionally) bypass the native power saving feature of the calculator.

Another suggestions that will win me no fiends is to either charge the students a default yearely fee or to ask them to bring their own batteries. This will reduce the attrition of stolen batteries.
