Yes it will. If you want you may be able to help it along with a hair dryer but yes once all of the moisture has cleared it will be back to normal. Hope this helped and good luck.

My husband lifted a pot of water off the stove that tilted over and water spilled on burner. Now there is a constant clicking sound and when I look at each burner I can see the little sparks like it is...

I recommend unplugging the AC since this is stressing the high voltage transformer.

You need to gain access to the area under the top and thoroughly dry the area.

If you have as hair dryer or smaller heater, you might aim the hot air to areas around the burners.

Good luck-

KGCT365BBL stove top electric starter won't stop clicking

either you got water or spray cleaner under the knobs making (shorting)the circuit for the ignition. or you got a bad ig switch on one of the burner valves.
If its water, Unplug the range for a few days till it drys.

Pilot keeps clicking even when burner operates;

unplug the range and wait 24 hours for the liquid to dry up. The clicking will stop when it is dry. The liquid has shorted the ignition switches causing the igniters to click.

The electric igniter wont stop clicking

damaged ignitor switch, either something spilled on it or it has failed...depending on unit could be a spark module control also. let sit unplugged for a day or two and see what happens.

Maytag gemini gas stove. Ignitor problems

My experience with this is that it occurs when moisture gets into the ignitor area and shorts out the open and causes the spark. It stops after it drys out.

This is very non-techinical and I will defer if there is a deeper solution.

Igniter wont stop firing

Make sure that the small burner holes near the ignitor are not clogged. if no flame is visibly touching the ignitor, then the ignitor will not sense that it is lit. The fact that it seems to take longer to light than normal leads me to this as well.

If there is good flame contact with the ignitor, then sometimes it will not sense the flame if you had a boilover and water got down between the wire and the ceramic body. This can happen with oil as well. Removing the ignitor (carefully! if you crack it, it will "leak" its spark and not work properly), cleaning it and letting it thoroughly dry will help. Most of the time I just leave the burner on and the clicking will stop after about a minute when the whole assembly heats up and drys out.

If all that checks out, then the ignition module is bad. Mine went out after 6 years use. They are available online (I bought mine from a Viking parts store...surprisingly). Replacement is fairly easy. Turn off the power to the stove. Remove the screws that hold the burner knob/oven knob faceplate to the range (Two are only accessed by opening the oven door, the rest are tucked up at the top of the faceplate and under the top-front lip of the range) The ignition module has many wires attached and they are easy to remove. MAKE SURE YOU ATTATCH THE WIRES TO THE NEW MODULE IN EXACTLY THE SAME SPOTS ON THE NEW IGNITOR. That includes the same ignitor wires that are all colored the same.

I absolutely love my Bluestar. I wish my convection fan was quieter, but the power of the range is simply awesome.

Gaggenau clicking

Sounds like the spill got into one of the burner switches. This is not a big problem. Once it drys out it should return to normal. However if it keeps on clicking it could mean that one of the switches shorted out and will need to be replaced. The switches are located under the burner control knobs on the valve. Hope this helps.
