Question about Whirlpool 21.0 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator with IceMagic Plus Ice Maker
I think the ice maker is leaking somewhere and I'm receiving water (standing) on the top shelf of my refrigerator... I chcked the outside icemaker line and it is not leaking. I think it's internal. It's a Whirlpool model number ETICHMXKQ03.
Your defrost drain is clogged and now the defrost drain trough has filled with ice causing the water from your defrost cycles to flow into the fresh food section. You will need to clear all ice form thr drain area and this is done thru the freezer wall and some models also have a removable bottom panel in the freezer that has to come out also to get to the drain. You can do this it will just take a little time. About an hour for a first timer with little experience. Good luck and hope this helps
