Your vent is propably restricted with lint. Have entire dryer vent system cleaned. Make sure first that the dryer is blowing ok by taking hose off back of dryer. If air comes out dryer without hose attached but no air out vent when hose is attached then the vent hose or duct work in house is clogged.

How do I test heating elements and identify leads

The heating elements can be tested for continuity using a voltage meter. Continuity is "continueness". If no continuity, then you need to replace the elements. They are sold based on the voltage and amperage of the water heater. That information is available on the information tag on the side of the tank.

I have had the ac recharged. Checked the guage and it is full of freon. The air blows on the inside but there's no cold air. What could be the problem?

Water pump or possibly a new radiator hose. Check your main hoses leading to and from the firewall by the driver side leading to what should look like a possible option for your cabinant hose.

Heater does not come on, Radiator fluid full. Fluid heats, heater does not work blower works heater does not get hot or even warm.

Probably air locked. check to see if one of the hoses leading into heater is hot. Other cause could be heater solenoid control valve faulty. Very unlikely that the heater matrix is blocked. Easiest way to bleed heater is to remove hose's when car is cold and GENTLY flush through with garden hose and push hoses back on when full of water, so you know you have a heater full of fluid. Hope this helps

If the heat control system is operated by small vacuum hoses, check the hoses under the hood and under the dash at the heater control. The hoses control "doors" or large air-valves which direct heated air. Sometimes the hoses break or become disconnected, and sometimes the doors get stuck.

Kenmore Elite 73942 Gas Dryer only runs with start button held

Unplug the dryer. Open the control console.Mark and remove the wires from the start switch.
Using a volt meter set for continuity, touch meter leads to R1 and R2 while pushing the switch. No reading is a bad switch.
Touch meter leads to R2 and CT1. No reading is a bad switch.
If the switch checks out good the start windings in the motor are bad.

2003 Dodge Ram Van 1500 *** NO HEAT **

Do you have enough antifeeze in your cooling system. If not fill & check again for heat. You may have a blockage. If so remove the in & out hoses to the heater core on firewall. Be careful not to damage core. Use a garden hose to flush the core one side to the other untill running clear water. put one hose on tight & clamp, put other on loose. Have someone start engine & slowly remove loose hose to let air escape. when fluid appears put hose on & tighten. Refill rad & resevoir. Heat engine up & check for heat. Also heat cable may be off under dash.

I changed the thermostat in my 1993 Toyota Celica

Yes, those are the hoses that go to the heater core. Just wondering, you didn't say that air is blowing, is it? You also have other components that "decide" your heat into the cabin of the car. What were the symptoms leading up to you deciding to change the thermostat.

Blowing Cold Air

Sounds like a heater core. Check the passenger side floor board. Sometimes when these go out there will be some water on the passenger side floor. Hope this helps some.
