Try connecting the monitor to another desktop/laptop, to see if the monitor still works.

Try connecting another monitor to your computer,
to see if the video-card on your computer is producing any output.

Today I received a faulty Monitor Dell E773c, the problem is that the Monitor get On and the power LED is Green and after remove VGA Cable from CPU it get Orange, But no Display (The Screen is Blank)

To get monitor work for you, you should connect the VGA cable to CPU. When you remove the VGA cable, monitor has got nothing to display so it goes in stand by mode with orange LED on.

My cpu opens but the monitor doesnt starts

Hi Chiver, there could be possible several reasons, such as RAM into CPU or VGA means Graphic Card issue and consequently there is one more possibility with Monitor. Sometimes due to moisture monitor does not show display and in this case you need to keep monitor in the sunshine for hour almost and then it will work perfect.

Good Luck

How do i adjust my vga cpu to work with my svga monitor?

Your computer should work fine with the monitor. I would guess that the XP display settings are off, either the resolution or monitor refresh rate.

Rather than tinkering with the display settings, it may be easier to delete the video card from device manager, then reboot and let Windows configure itself. You can then tweak the settings by right-clicking the desktop, properties, settings (I think), or thru Control Panel, Display (I think). I haven't run XP in a while.

My cpu is on just i power off the monitor.,series is samsung SyncMasterB1930 is the model., now when i am trying to on the monitor the monitor is not responding it is still power off mode.

First check if the monitor is functional by removing the monitor cable connected to the CPU, once disconnected you should see a onscreen display on the monitor (Keep the power cable intact).

Second check if the CPU is working (not stuck / hung) if you hear the windows logging on sound, then your CPU is fine. If you do not have sound enabled during startup or no speakers then once the system is on give it some time to load windows and then keep tapping the Caps lock or the num lock key, if the lights respond / glow on and off when you press the keys then the CPU is working.

Third check if the CPU has two display ports (in case if you have a onboard VGA and a seperate video card) disconnect it from one port and insert it in another port and restart the computer and see it it works. If you do not have two video ports then skip this step.

Fourth - Restart the computer and keep tapping F8 Key while restarting, in the windows advanced menu choose enable VGA mode or Low resolution video mode (based on XP or Vista/Win 7 the menu changes), if you can see that menu then the issue is with the display settings only. Once in VGA mode or low resolution mode reduce the video resolution settings and restart the computer.

Please revert if you need further assistance, or clarification.

LCD monitor stopped working on my CPU but works on my Brother's

Definitely some electrolytic capacitors are blown inside the monitor in power supply module. Open it and observe any of them rounded on top, replace with proper ones.
You see, controller operations with VGA and DVI inputs takes different current from the supply, that's why it may take different time until PWM chip in the power supply will decide it is time to shut down before getting smoked.
Replace capacitors.

My AL1916W monitor will accept the Windows XP Pro output for a while but then presents a message which travels round the screen "Input not supported" and I can do nothing. It works OK with another CPU -...

It is display screen resolution issue.
When you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode then go to control panel ->display->settings
then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then restart then check.

Screen will not display

Hi,
Have you ensured that your display card driver AND correct monitor driver is installed. This is to make sure that your display card only generates signals that your Acer monitor is capable of handling. If you do not have the driver CD for your monitor you can download the software from www.acer.com. The problem is most likely that your display card is generating a refresh rate which your monitor cant handle. Go to your display properties and lower the refresh rate of your display card and see if this solves the problem.
Best wishes,
Graemevm

XP freezes display just before welcome screen

Kaiwah, You never said how old the MB is, but it looks like the onboard video is bad. If it is still under warranty have them fix it. If not go out and get a new board. I have seen yours for about less than $100.00 bucks

Monitor goes blank after showing XP logo screen (black screen with the xp logo right after boot up screens)

There are different reasons why this might happen. Let's try some. 1.) Does your board have an onboard video card, cause if it does, then XP might be using that as the primary monitor. TRy plugging into the onboard video when you start up! If that works then you need to disable the onboard video.(try disabling it in bios!) if not then 2.)When booting at the select xp or recovery console, press F8. You'll get the menu with safe mode and what not. Go down to Enable VGA Mode then press enter. If that works, go to display settings and lower your resolution then restart. But usually when this happens your monitor says "Out of Range" but u can still try Well if that doesn't work, tell me more! Regards, Armando
