Question about LG WD-3274RHD Front Load Washer / Dryer

Water pump failure?

Strange noise began coming from the compartment that houses the water pump (like a baseball card in bicycle spokes.) I emptied the machine of water, checked the filter, removed coins, collar stay and a bobby pin. Afterward the noise continued. My girlfriend accidentally added 3 times the correct amount of detergent and found that the machine was full of water after the cycle had completed. I drained the water, disassembled the machine, confirmed all tubes to be clear, ran diagnostic mode meant to operate the water pump and the machine simply filled with water: no drainage nor sound from the pump compartment. Drum spins perfectly, but the machine will not drain. Is my water pump shot?

The water pump drain motor has something stuck in it or it has gone bad like most LG parts.
Remove the drain pump and look for any foreign object to be removed.
Check the drain pump for a failed pump motor.
LG is pretty.

Whirpool front load washer model LHW0050PQ4 makes sputtering sound during spin cycle

Power plug off the wall first. Check out the pump which comes after the filter, something shd be clogging there; it shd move freely.
Remove back of machine to see if anything is touching the wheel belt or pulley.

Pl click helped, if helped.

Machine had been giving E20 error code - filter cleared and it re-started ok. When wash was in progress - jammed at rinse stage and all lights came on (except spin speeds) and humming noise and nothing...

E20 is an error code for drainage failure.

Check where the appliance drain hose connects to the house drains for a blockage.

If it's onto a spigot under the sink, take them off and check both for a blockage.

If these are ok then it's likely to be a blockage in the pump.

You'll need to drain the water out manually.

Put a shallow dish below the filter and slacken the filter.

Tighten it to stop the flow of water while you empty the dish.

Once empty, take the filter out, clean out the debris and ensure nothing is left jamming the pump.

Before refitting the filter, put the machine on drain or spin and listen at the filter housing to see if you can hear the pump running.

If you do, fit the filter and try the machine again.

My machine is making a weird noise. Sort of like a baseball card in bicycle spokes.

I had the exact same problem with my machine. I just had it serviced last week. The problem was loose change that was inside of the pockets in the laundry got caught in the waterpump. The repair person had to get the change out of the waterpump and it runs just like new again.

Grinding noise from passenger side engine

The water pump bearings could be going out and they will make a grinding noise. The water pump doesn't always leak when the bearings are going out.

2004 Ford Taurus V6 noise underhood appears to be belt

Sounds like a bad idler pulley,or belt tensioner. Most likely not water pump since the check engine light is not on. Altho it couold be the water pump and for some reason (bad sensor, burnt out light) the check engine isnt coming on. Either way it would be best to have it looked at.

Loud noise

Hard to say for sure without more info. Sounds like something caught in pump though. Give us the brand and a model number.
