Question about Kenwood DNX5120 DVD Navigation System GPS Receiver
Press SRC+EJECT, then RESET.
I'm not sure if this will reset it, but in the front of your navi system there is a tiny hole (below the volume control knob). It'd probably be best to use the end of a paper clip or the tip of the pen, but you could just click that and it should reset the system. If anything, the code should be 0000, at least my default code was that.
Also, maybe in the user guide can find more details.
You did not enter the security code immediately after first start-up.
Put the equipment back into the original operating conditions by pressing RESET key. Then enter the code, which is printed on your Car Audio Passport. If we have not answered your question please click on the icon to e-mail us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hope this helps.

Your code number is XXXX (KCAR)
* Press numeric key "5" ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key "2" ( 3 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key "2" ( 1 time ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key "7" ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
i am also pretty certain that you will need to use the remote control to input your code.
If this master reset does not work, the unit will need to be sent to kenwood with proof of purchase for them to reset it. ................... in saying that I am yet to hear of this procedure not working.
hope i helped, and please dont forget to rate my solution. :-)
