Hello, Are you talking about the electronic eyes that are mounted on each side of the door? Or are you talking about something directly mounted on the garage door opener itself? Please include any model/serial numbers that may be posted on the product. Thank you for posting additional information.

The color of the sensors is normal. If the main light flashes 10 times when you try to close the door it is a door sensor problem. Take a close look at each sensor and see if the small light on each one is flickering. If the door reverses when you try to close it but the main light does not flash you can try increasing the 'down force'. This control is on the panel where all those white wires go. Increase it a 1/4 turn and try. You may also have a bad RPM sensor board which is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor.

LiftMaster Pro 1/2 hp 41AS050-1 won't shut. when

Check the resistance down button (There is one for down and another one for up). You may need to adjust the sensitivity. That way even if for some reason the have hard time coming down, less sensitivity may solve that issue.

There is nothing in the way of the sensors but the garage door won't close automatically. The green light sensor is blinking when open and the other sensor is a constant yellow. Suggestions?

One light should be green and the other yellow. This is normal. Resetting the sensor should fix this problem if the sensors are properly aimed at each other but I need to know the make and model to provide programming instructions for you.

Door won't close, blinks 10 times, sensor light yellow

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem or the wiring to them. Nothing else causes this symptom.

Garage shuts partially and then reopens and the light flashes.

MOST doors ALSO have pressure sensors that detect the force exerted on the door and shut down if excessive. Broken or weak counterbalance springs cause trips of this sensor and OFTEN one must adjust the sensitivity of them. IF there are adjustments for this, they are on the head motor area.

Purchased a Thor Alarm with door locks and autostart and trunk release I believe model CF425 and was curious if anyone had a wiring diagram not sure what each wire is. One harness has 12 wires the other...

I have this alarm / remote start / keyless entry system and I have the poorly translated installation manual. Everything in mine installed fine in my 2005 suzuki aerio (except the power locks as the manual is worthless in that area) but I have heard nothing but horror stories from others online since I installed it.

I don't recommend you install it but if you really are determined, here is what the manual says (or tried to say and I spent 4 hrs interpretting / correcting it:

8 wire harness:
-- The 4 wire connector connects to the 4 wires harness part of the 3 relays
-- The yellow connects to the yellow of the breaker relay yellow
-- yellow w/black stripe connects to the oil sensor on the motor (look for single wire connected to sensor and generally a heat shield wrap/weave, mine was blue)
-- orange connects to the brake switch on the brake pedal
-- the blue connects to the door switch /dome light trigger

12 wire harness:
-- 6 central locking wires orange, yellow, and white plus the same 3 with black stripe.. Unfortunately the manual is not clear as to where they connect. The next page of the manual shows diagrams but they mysteriously add a white stripe to all the colors and the white wires apparently become green. I suspect that orange is not likely used in most installations and for positive door lock types (the most popular), yellow goes to unlock and yellow w/ black stripe goes to lock signal and the 2 whites go to 12v+. This is only a guess so don't hold me to it.
-- black is grounded to frame
-- Red is 12v+
-- red w/ black stripe goes to power trunk release (if equipped)
-- The 2 browns go to the left and right turn signals
-- The pink goes to the alarm

Ignition switch connections
----------------------------------------
The breaker relay:
-- blue goes to the ACC ON wire
-- Cut the ignition wire and connect the 2 greens to each end
-- Yellow connects to the yellow of the 8 wire harness

The 3 relays:
-- 4 wire harness connects to the 4 wire connector of the 8 wire harness
-- the 3 reds connects to the 12v+ red of the ignition switch (or thru the firewall to the battery)
-- black connects to the ignition on the downstream side of the 2 greens of the breaker relay
-- white connects to ACC ON
-- blue connects to the starter

Chamberlain Whisper garage door system that only closes 3/4...

One sensor should always be yellow, the other should be SOLID green.
If the lights are not consistently SOLID, you have a sensor issue.
TEST: If the door closes completely by pressing and holding down the wall pad button, you have a sensor problem.

Check to make sure the are aimed properly at each other.
Check the wire at the sensor and more importantly at the machine (If the wires are loose at the machine (terminals) it can cause this problem. Remember the machine does shake a lot.
If the wires are good, the sensors are aimed correctly, you have a sensor issue and need to loacte a replacement set.
