I have those 2 cells and I would like to transfer the pictures on my laptop. I bought a usb wire that fits both but that does not permit pictures transfer. What would do it?

Set your device to MTP mode in the USB settings. It will then act like a camera or media device so you can transfer items to and from your phone.

Has your laptop a slot for the SD card? If it hasn't then get a SD to USB card convertor. You put the card into that and the USB into a USB slot and you computer will then read the SD card and you can transfer the files in the same way as any other drive.

If you have a memory card you can also pull that out and use an adapter and plug it directly into your computer

You can't transfer programs, programs have to be reinstalled.

You can copy things like your My Documents Folder, My Pictures, My Videos, and Favorites to a usb flash drive or an external drive then put the drive into the usb port of the new computer and copy them to the appropriate folders (Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, etc).

3. Then select open file to view folder from your laptop,
4. Browse out the location of the pictures from your phone on your laptop,
5. Then copy them and paste in your choice pf location on your laptop.

Those are the ways to transfer pictures from your phone to your laptop.

there are few steps to transfer picture from computer to your lg gt505 phone.. its either you use bluetooth (if your laptop or computer has a blutooth), or you transfer it using a cable usb. cable usb is given to you when you buy your phone. every phone has usb cable. or u can transfer it using a card reader and put it on your memory card. hope this helps.

If you are unable to use your memory card, your LG CU515 has a data cable connection which supports charging and mass storage mode.

Once you connect your phone to your PC with this cable, you should be able to transfer your pictures.

In the menu, there should be an entry for "copy" or "transfer" or something to that effect that will permit the transfer.

Simply get a cable that fits. The camera cable should be a standard USB A for the Computer- assuming the computer has USB or is it Sony and fitted with Fire-wire in which you will need an adaptor Fire-wire to USB
