Question about Refrigerators
There are 3 things to look for on this. The defrost timer which tells the ref. to go into defrost, the defrost t-stat which sends power from the timer to the heater and then the heater. Most likely out of the 3 it is usually the t-stat located on the evap coils behind the back panel of your freezer section. Easy to get to and easy to change. The stat is the one item that has a wire going to the heater. Hope this helps.
